The brilliance of the TITOR story is that it is impossible to prove it a hoax... There are divergent timelines according to the story and the very fact that he traveled to this one both in early 2000 AND the 70's to speak to his grandfather would cause a divergence.

Titor claimed that he believed it would only be about a 1 percent divergence, but he wouldn't necessarily know so there could have been a delay in events etc... or even a complete divergence...

Who knows? That's the problem with trying to debunk it. It's impossible based on the basis of the story...

I was looking for a woman to become president in 2008 because he had inferred that it would happen, but that it didn't doesn't mean that he wasn't telling the truth...If absolutely nothing that he claims happened in HIS timeline happens in this one, it doesn't mean he was lying...

Also, the light doesn't start to bend until after it exits the vehicle and there is no light outside of the vehicle besides the laser light, so HOW exactly would the light(that doesn't exist) be distorted???

Just has the Billy Meier photos, provided as evidence for this authenticity, have been proven a hoax, so too Titor.

Review my post again I edited it... Even the photo was NOT proven to be a hoax...

Hey I hear ya, but until a few minutes ago I wasn't aware that ATS considered John Titor a hoax since 2004.

Seems more grey area compared to most out right lies posted in the more ideological forums. I'm looking at it from a users perspective, I don't think about the time and energy that goes into running a place like this.

I don't agree with your decision on this, but I respect who you are and all the effort involved in running such a place.

The thing that sucks, at this point is in order to prove John Titor is true a huge number of bad things have to happen here to us, all of us. So I do hope he was/is a hoax, because the world he describes is a terrible place. It sure sets the mind at ease to think of a world were Russia isn't the hero for nuking the planet...
