i find this situation remarkable to say the Least. I seem to show up here only at times of high strangeness...i will review the pages of very well thought out comments of ALL, and would hasten to add based on the Lack of news on this in the world we would have to consider the lack of coverage significant along with all the issues people here have raised so far.
I do not have a comment on the images until i do more study. I didn't find out about it til around sept 06.

a reply to: wmd_2008 has any one found out why the pilot copyrighted his images ? did he release his ownership rights? did he shop around to sell the material ? this makes a big difference in helping to determine the sourcing or reasons these images even exist. The end of the world scenario I read in comments elsewhere, in a youtube site revealing this material. Along with the Base of SATAN on Earth, underwater UFO Base, the volcano activity etc. Its kind of important i think to see if the Pilot and crew are discussing this matter. Its important to locate the radio traffic of the crew with base ground control stations. Very important.

a reply to: OpenMindedRealistthere is a greenish gray haze in the clouds at altitude of the plane as close and as far away as the horizon. I wonder if the mixture of the prominent colors seen in the photos on or under the water if mixed produce a greenish yellow gray type coloration ? I believe this would increase the likelihood of this being a real event that was so massive or powerful, ( the former is natural, the latter is not natural) that it affected the general region. My estimates without calculation (grand eh? ) of the amount of area so affected is the same as the area seen by a plane at that height on the natural curvature of the Earth of any object far away before it disappears on other side of that arcing curve...is that distance 250 miles ?... i cannot recall without the google screen pressed against my face right now.

This is an extremely disturbing incident that the crew had to courage to fly towards, and not away from it, around it. To record the information. These crew people are heroes. There is no reason for the pilot to feel he has to give or maintain any storyline about the Lights when we know very little of how human lights can lead to the glowing of elements of earth for 250 miles around ? including the clouds in the sky at 20,000 to 28,000 ft ? Come on you investigators. Do not roll over and play dead just because you have quacks like the big O come in here...he was a hack man for NASA for gods sake forever...his postings are in here to explain sea sound recordings ? of what ? Nothing on Earth manmade can recreate Light energy that glows the sky from beneath the surface People...not like what the crew were able to capture. I can say it for the pilot since he is not in a position to say whatever he wants. He has a job in flying. There is no explanation yet for this. Greetings, I am not the OP or a moderator but, most people read and are possibly awaiting further input from the pilot. And, when someone comes into a thread and sort of spams it with multiple replies in a row, it tends to put folks off a bit. The thread won't disappear and when there is additional information, posters will participate.

Threads go through ebbs and flows and sometimes posts just get *crickets* especially if readers sense someone is so entrenched in their own assumptions that they would rather debate than discuss.

I'm sure the next posts from the pilot will re-engage the ATS collective. This is a long thread. Not everyone can hang. You can always lay out your own theory in a thread you start.

other than what it appears to be.These same observers of oddness who come here are well aware of the extent of the strangeness, the sheer size of it all. the Massive energy levels involved, not to mention other types of plasma energies perhaps mastered by the same races traveling space the way we take a ride to wash dc to take in the sights. I consider the copyright of the images offensive. I take the lack of removal of the copyright a crime. The lack of reporting by news services properly or the military is also a crime. We know weather and other satellites image the world. This event for all we know is still ongoing yet we hear whispers from investigators of this forum that its being kept quiet since it might be MILITARY,yet these same people if they just try for a moment can understand it might be some other Planet's MILITARY being here... anyways, we now have 2 monuments to ufo research. The amazing images from a skilled pilot and very brave air crew and also we have a monument to idle foolishness by those who are desperate to say its a human caused event.

1) The pilot and his co-pilot are working men, they have only so much time to devote to forums.

2) If people had read his previous posts, there has been a great deal of information and interaction on the forums.

3) They are awaiting analyses from various scientific circles; this takes time.

The absolute outrage of hearing a pilot discuss the FAA info on UFOs may not apply, to see that here is so ridiculous since the FAA is part of the criminal UFO space alien ship cover up. I am one to declare, since few seem able to, that if this is not a natural occurrence than it is a TRANSFORMATIVE EVENT. It will change this world forever. If it was natural its power is immense. These men have betrayed you and me.The graham bethune sighting over the ocean at night was feb 1951 and it has been dated for different years by the disinformation agents. The event was very important. It was covered up by the military and government in 1951. It revealed the massive use of the oceans by an highly advanced large alien presence. I appreciate your interest in the subject, though I find it offensive (in return and with a genuine wink ) that you take my copyright mark as an offense. To give you a bit of background information; I've been interested in capturing the beauty of flight and in a broader sense the world/universe, since I started flying. To be able to show people the beauty of aviation and the world as seen from above is my largest passion and now, after about 11 years of flying for a profession, I have finally been able to master the photography to such a level that I can capture and show the beauty of the world at night, as seen from the cockpit in all its aspects.
I invested almost 15.000 euro's (19.000 USD) on equipment (camera, lenses, memory cards, computers, software etc etcetc.. ), travelling (hotels + rental car for on-destination photography) and hundreds of days editing and reading/learning on the subject.

I noticed the last years that many of my images have been stolen by third parties, often submitted to photo contests under another persons name, used by companies for commercial purposes etc... and I have decided to add my copyright to each and every image I post online since then. Though I agree that it might ruin some images, it is a necessity these days since I simply invested too much to let other people take credit for (or earn money with) my photos.
When I added my watermark on the photos of this subject, I never EVER would have thought that it would be going viral or be so extremely popular and world spread. If I would have know this would have happened, I would have perhaps put a different watermark on it (referring to my site, not my name or so).
Anyway, I think I've already wasted too much time on excusing myself on putting a watermark on MY photos in the first place

Concerning the follow up on the event itself; it has been quite of a disappointment so far;

- I've been in contact with a couple of companies that monitor all lightning activities worldwide and none of them have recorded ANY lightning or electrical activities in a 500Nm (about 950km) radius from the place where we saw the bright flash. This does NOT mean there was not a regular lightning bolt, since they cannot register every single one and generally capture about 70-85% of all lightning strikes, but the chances that it was a lightning strike are close to zero since it was a very bright and very energetic lightning strike and no activity at ALL was recorded over that part of the Pacific for hours before and after our sighting. It would have been picked up in all likeliness.

- I did not get any official feedback from the FAA or other (aviation) authorities, other then some informal emails from FAA-employees who love the story and are wondering among themselves what it could have been. Very nice people, but no official inquiries, statements or reports. This does not mean they are hiding something, maybe they are just not interested.

- No seismic activities have been recorded in this part of the ocean during the time of the event, according to official institutes.

- Some other pilots (with other airlines, but trustworthy) told me they saw some red lights too over that part of the ocean a few days later, though no official reports or photos taken. Could indicate a (somewhat strange) fishing fleet or perhaps some military exercise.

- Kamchatka-based Russian scientists contacted me and are suspecting we've seen some very bright 'earthquake lights' that are very often reported in Kamchatka since many centuries. Though they look extremely bright and highly concentrated, it could make sense concerning the seismic activities of last few weeks.

- A Hungarian journalist that is very interested in this subject, contacted me and told me Putin allegedly said in an interview a few weeks ago Russia might possess a new type of hyper modern weapon that is currently in a test phase. I cannot confirm this, neither do I want to put too much credibility into this theory.

- If we would have overflown a nuclear test site, or another place with extreme nuclear radiation, I would have felt the results of the exposure. Radiation sickness did not occur to me or my colleague, so I safely assume we were not exposed to unusual levels of radiation.



All in all, I still have no clue what this could be, though it 'might' just be an unusual Japanese fishing fleet... or a Russian/Indian navel fleet... or... ? I just dont know actually... and I begin to think we will never find out what was there below us.

I do not ever mean any remarks i make to be taken by you personally. I have a great deal of surprise that you answered my own comments that were directed kind of at the entire world...if only that was possible. I am deeply grateful not only that you were able to get the images but that you took or take the time to let the people in your own nation online know of your experiences, images etc. I will review your comments but i wanted to rush this to you so in hopes you realize I would never insult a person aiding the study of the unknown, or even just a new member in a chat comment circle such as this. I extend an apology.

Has anyone checked weather satellite photos of that region for that time? Perhaps that is one more possible avenue of investigation.
