it's not a deflection, it's a fact.

we've already been over all this, there is no solution, except a ban, which you claim to not want..and even a ban isn't a solution, because it wouldn't stop criminals from getting guns.

the solution is that there is no solution.

You really are basically just an ATS based billboard/posterboy for MDA and the other ANti-2nd groups.

The only things you recite is what they offer as information. And the whole tired BS nonsense of "Well, the pro-gun crowd just wants to shoot someone" is about as low as it gets.

Care to provide any real proof of this? Or any situation on the Stand your ground law that has this fictitious workings of someone being shot because they looked at someone oddly?

Projection is a very ugly color on you.

You might want to actually go and read the comments of Anti-2nd people.

Yes magazines of course how silly of me, no one on earth would have understood such a drastic misuse of the lexicon.

It is the defining term for an item. Has very little to do with a lexicon.
I guess that most, when wanting to speak intelligently about something, whether it be "for" or "against" it, would actually research what it is.
Shall we also talk about Barrel Shrouds?
Or how about those 30 clip magazines?
Maybe some ghost guns?
Ignorance is the most common item in your posts.
I don't expect it to change either.

Hunters don't foam at the mouth when someone even whispers gun control.

Collectors don't foam at the mouth if someone even whispers gun control.

SO, not wanting further infringement of rights is "foaming at the mouth"? Seems like YOU are the one paranoid about life.
Guess when there is opposition to your wants, people foam at the mouth.

The home defense enthusiast is more likely to kill himself than an intruder so that's not a worry.

I would LOVE to see those stats. Can you provide these numbers?

That leaves the rambo types, the scared snipless people who thinks ra gubermint gunna take yer gunz. Who thinks an evil doer is around every corner. So paranoid, their house looks more like an armory than a home.

Got some pictures of these armory/homes???

When people have the visceral reaction that you appear to have on this issue, then yes, it's easy for me to imagine they are foaming at the mouth on this subject.

Firearm Access is a Risk Factor for Suicide

Wait..........I'm mad???
Geez, thanks for telling me that.
Along with telling me that since I don't want further infringement of a Right I'm foaming, what my wants in life and so on, I guess you telling me that I am mad is your common theme.

Your imagination has run away from you. Along with your imagined shootings because of looking at someone wrong, and every other Anti-2nd themed rant.

So..................you used suicide stats to offer a standing in your statement.

Man, I gotta hand it to you. Your Semantics-Fu is pretty good.

But, the correlation between suicides and defensive use of a firearm doesn't show in your provided stats.

And just to be clear, firearm ownership does not mean higher suicide rates. Suicide is suicide. Since there are other methods of suicide, like hanging and such, I am willing to guess you don't care about those other people....er I mean methods because it isn't firearm related.

Other countries don't have the amount of firearm violence we have. What ate they doing right?

Propose a solution that doesn't further involve infringing upon people's rights..............as stated before.

We armed Americans came to the rescue of numerous of these unarmed countries twice in the last century.

the allies we fought side by side with were
Australia
Britain and
Canada.

In the past twenty years governments have
managed to remove the guns from the citizens of
Australia
Britain and
Canada.

In the last twenty years the pressure has been
increased to remove the guns from the Americans.

History lesson:
History has never been kind to a people who were
either unable or unwilling to defend themselves.

this is also deliberately misleading...

countries with bans have lower firearm violence, yes...but you must also take into account that they are nowhere near as large as the United States, in terms of population....more population = higher instances of whatever behavior you're singling out.....

in addition to this, you must also take into account stats for OTHER categories of violent behavior....in plain terms, you're swapping one form of violence for another.....surely, you don't think this is better...

Here's one, why does your first graphic have to manipulate data in order to make the outcome seem better?

a reply to: HauntWok

your thinking is constantly twisting and bending and tangentially ricocheting off of reality.

the graphic explains exactly what it says it explains. it is not called manipulation when the obvious is explained and shown, it is called information and eradication of ignorance.

You ignore a lot of facts and data. the root word for ignore is ignorance.
thought you were on here to deny that, oh excuse me you are.

it is not manipulating data it is explaining that the four cities with the strictest gun control laws, which a have all been governed by liberal progressives, have skewed the United States murder rate to third highest in the world, and when you remove those four liberal progressive tight gun control cities, the US murder rate drops to fourth from the bottom.

All we are saying is YOU are the varient here and resemble someone who got off meds. WE hold to a superior judgement our use of weapons and skills or we would rule the country. ANY military can do that.

We don't like the noise I think. But YOU are in a hole somewhere from ...something,shift gears or go bang pal, it IS obvious to me.
