my point is why do you reach for tokens ? and endorsements, in this man's case his actions and words are not aligning with these people's photo op moments and quick commentary, they only know the face he puts on for them and then make statements how dumb, I'd like to see him say those comments to some of these people's faces or maybe their grandparents so we could put into some real context that this is just another throwback racist that spewed this nonsense 50-100 years ago but there were more people that said these very things and worse, he only toned it down because he knows exactly what he would really would like to say.

Wow, there are some IGNORANT people on this thread, and I aint talking about Clive Bundy and the people who see the situation for what it really is. I am talking about all the ones still calling him a racist and hanging up on that.

Every single one of you who feel like he is a racist and are calling it out are the truly folks without any compassion. You cant have it both ways.

Here is what i posted on facebook about this stupid situation, and that was before I knew there was an overly edited tape

I'll go one step further and almost, read that word again, almost, agree with Bundy.

The majority of people on government assistance are poor folks. Duh. A lot of those are African Americans and Latinos, and generally just 'minorities'.

So what do we have going on with them? We have them begging, literally jumping up and down and waving their hands for government assistance.

Well this is what government assistance looks like.

Food stamps, medical assistance, and low rent housing.

So we put our poor in #ty neighborhoods that continue crime and bad living situations, we 'allow' them the means to buy food, but realistically it's all franken foods that are over processed, shot full of chemicals and antibiotics, and genetically altered even further if the results arent to the corporations profit standards.

Who oversees that food?

The FDA.

So they allow a tainted food supply which is not hard to see the effect that has on our health in general. If you eat # food, you get sick. Cancer, heart problems, strokes, diabetes, etc.

So what next?

You go to the free doctor from Medicaid, and they don't actually help you, they just give you a pill and tell you to keep calm and carry on. Right? I mean the US has about 5% of the world population, yet we consume 50%+ of the prescription medications out there. That would seem like an issue to me, especially when you see the tv or newspaper ads talking about how this pill will kill you or this one will cause partial paralysis, etc.

Now, the poor people can't hardy provide for themselves, let alone realize everything I just typed. They just have too much going on.

So tell me how that situation isn't WORSE than slavery, as it puts people under the guise of free will only to be walking right into the trap. And it's not just the poor, I guarantee you probably never thought about all of that together either. The poor are just the hardest hit. So maybe Bundy bungled when he directed that to African Americans, but I'm sure that's due to his age and the 'black' people being the majority of what he knows as the 'poor'.

Again, not making excuses for him, and targeting one race was a little dense, but not everyone is as thoughtful as you or me, especially when we can hit backspace a million times and change at will what we are about to say.

Think about it though. Do you question every little thing that goes into your body? Do you trust a government to keep you warm and safe when they so readily kill anyone they please? Do you question your doctors and the over prescribing of pills to solve natural problems? If you aren't questioning those things, then you are in the same boat as all the rest and need to wake up and see what's really going on around you.

The top .5% are making 350 times the amount of their average worker. Not lowest paid, average.

I know you all have seen the video on the wealth disparity, and what it should be, versus what it actually is. All that money sitting at the top could be paid out in the form of wages so regular people can afford more things and necessities.

The mega wealthy are actually quite stupid, as they milk this county for all the money, they are exponentially shrinking their client base and thus their profits have been contracting due to no body spending.

Oh wait, our government has been bailing them out for ages with literal bailout funds and subsidies that we are paying in the form of taxes.

The system is BROKEN. It is NOT working but for a select handful. Quit bitching about the stupid stuff that doesn't matter, like Clive Bundy and be a big boy and do something real, like educate people.

I'm from the camp who doesn't think he's racist. Just a well meaning hick who has been buying into the Fox News crowd. I think he got all hyped up from the right wing propaganda meetings they were having and thought he was telling people what they wanted to hear. It really is sad, he's a nice ole hick not at all trained to be in the national spot light.


However what he said was racist and untrue.
