Did you read my previous post correctly?

The ship accelerates at 1g for 313 days, at which point we reach 0.9c and turn the engine off.

We are now cruising at 0.9c under no acceleration.

When we want to stop the ship we fire the engine in the opposite direction, with a thrust of 1g, for 313 days.

(We're using 1g thrusts simply because it's a pleasant environment for humans to live in for a sustained period.)
