I'm not going to go tit for tat on this if you killed my family I WOULD FIND YOU AND I WOULD EXPLAIN TO YOU THAT IT WAS VERY VERY WRONG TO KILL MY CHILDREN AND MY WIFE IN A DRONE STRIKE.

No need to yell...And I wouldn't blame you, but what exactly has Pakistan the country done to the US itself not the people they hide?

And I know drone strikes, but please something a bit more would be nice.

Because of the drone strikes ,now come you could not be as tick as that but then again you could be.

You do realize the droane strikes is a recent development the conflict started before this. The droane strikes started when Taliban and Al quida started hiding in Pakistan. Now though i personally dont agree with droane strikes it has made sure they cant organize effectively so i at least see why they do it. Russia never managed to control Talibahn in Afghanistan and to this day still cant in the Caucasus as evidenced by the attempt on the Olympics. The irony in the whole thing is if the US leaves Afganistan this makes it worse on Russia. Because eventually they will turn there attention back to Russia who knows that may be why the US id pulling out maybe part of the big plan.

I think Putin wanted to make sure that Right Sector and Svoboda candidates do not end up taking the President's office in Kiev. Now that has NOT happened so Putin has withdrawn the troops.

Well i dont think thats why i do agree he can use it as an excuse when talking to media and can save face will see if he tries it. Its actually be a good move politically since it gives him an excuse because right now it looks like he abandoned the separatists.

I asked what Pakistan did to the US, how does that equate to the US using drones? It is a pretty simple question, and the part about training and housing those who want to do harm to the US am I wrong?

Ok man I will explain: Post 911, US attacked Afghanistan and decimated Talibian regime and military in 7-10 days and chased them off to the hills bordering Pakistan. Osama was also in that group of fleeing terrorists. If Pakistan had refused any entry, shelter, or assistance to these bands of fanatics, they would have been trapped on the hills with USAF pounding 500 lb precision bombs at will and Spec Ops closing in like wolves, pointing an area and calling in airstrikes. 2-3 weeks whole of this band of fanatics would have been killed or frozen stiff in the high altitudes of those mountains and that would have been the end of Talibian, Osama and the foreign fighters from all the mullahlands around the earth.

However, Pakistan gave these fanatics not only shelter but also protection from US Army by denying any entry to their country borderlands where these fanatics was residing, recouping and rearming. If Talibian was finished in by early 2002, then Afghan war would have been over and US would have been back. Because of Pakistan, US had to face insurgency of these rearmed fighters for next 13 years and ended up spending $10B a month.

This is how Pakistan 'repeat stabbed' US over the years. All along it was also taking $2B or more aid from US on the grounds of fighting these terrorists on its territory, when it was Pak army and intelligence that was arming, training and covering them all along.

In other words, because Pak won't allow US to cross its borders to deal with AQ and Taliban, the US had to use drones to attack these elements. Some say upto 40,000 people died in drone attacks as a faulty intelligence would result in common civilians getting bombed. Two governments in Pak have been toppled because of drone attacks and the resulting destruction of human lives. Taliban and AQ total strength at peak was barely 20,000, so lots of civilians were killed also.

Please get away from the video games and do your research and due diligence before posting almost provocative comments on an intense thread.

Your right and the islamic fundamentalists will gain strength and return to Afghanistan the moment US troops leave. All that happened is the US caused the rats to scurry. Im afraid in the long run its going to make things worse not so much for the US but for Russia and India. The scarry part is they destabilize india being a nuclear power. Unlikely to destabilize Russia just be a thorn in the side as they will start sending fighters to the caucuses again. Russia may loose a part of the caucuses if the Kremlin doesnt want to start another afgan war will see.

Before the CIA trained and armed them yeah they were simple camel jockeys as you so colorfully put it. ALso CIA advisers are not in control of Ukraine. They ADVISE but the decisions are up to the leadership. (who were elected recently and are recognized by the UN as legit BTW)

I guess you dont understand the differences between Sunni and Shia but that is truly the conflict in the middle east regardless of outside influence. For AQ and Taliban the bigger enemy is the US. Russia, India, China come later on. If they get another strong hold in Afghan after US leaves, they will target US first only. If Russia and others do not hinder their motives then they will be left alone.

Also any NEW power to AQ and Taliban in Afghanistan will come via Pakistan only. Pak hates US more than it hates Russia. Russia is close to China and Beijing issues orders to Pakistan. Pak will not risk a war with nuclear India also.

China would like AQ and Taliban in Kabul to work against the US/NATO in order to keep DC and Brussles occupied in expensive ventures.

Here are the main agendas of various blocks:

US/NATO: NWO and removal of Russia as a major nation in Eurasia. Then removal of China for total global domination.
AQ/Taliban/Saudi Wahhabi: Whole world becomes Sunni Islamic Caliphate.
Russia: Maintain a regional power status quo with control over the near abroad i.e. CIS.
China: Slowly grow into substantial regional power and dominate the region of South and East Asia.


The global geopolitics will toggle around these goals with 4 major blocks being on offensive and defensive at times to keep their status quo atleast.
