Household median income in the US is around $74,000. The average household spends about $270 a week on groceries. This comes out to a little under 20%.

My bet is rent/mortgage is where the average Russian will spend the greater percentage of their weekly wage.

They will be humming the same to similar tune as the rest of the civilised world.

Then there is tax, im not entirely sure what that amounts to over there, but here that translates to about a third of a person's income or thereabouts

It's from a month ago. It's as up to date as you're going to get on average cost Americans pay for groceries a week.

Any English Whisky left today?

Today is Sunday, tomorrow is Monday. I need to work. No alcohol. True, my woman will come to my house soon, I have wine for her)))
So if I suddenly leave you, wish me good luck and a stormy night. It's better than alcohol))))

So your woman needs wine when she sees you, that says it all.
