Tucker seemed rather enamored with the coin/trolly scheme, take it up with him as to what's the right way.

Also nothing wrong with Aldi, their products are on the ball, and adequately priced comparatively speaking.

Plenty of Aldi and Lidl stores in the US to the tune of about 2500 establishments or thereabouts.

So it can't be that much of a novelty experience.

Supermarket shopping, on the other hand, where Tucker is concerned, tell me that did not look like a fish out of water?

Dont like them much myself Jane.

Seen them fail before and nearly crush an old woman between 2 trolleys.

Luckily i managed to grab the thing by the front end, poor old biddy was terrified.

All ended well all the same.

My experience is you encounter the system in split-tier supermarkets with escalators.

Apparently, It's a safety feature.

The production is looking good according to those reports. I do wonder though and will ask, "Who are Russia's trading partners?" and "Who or what benefits the most from said increases in production?"

I know we still have deals with Russia despite any sanctions in play. Plus I'm sure Russia has ongoing deals with just about everyone else on the planet along with their socialist and communist comrades of course.

ETA: Good to see you back in action here on ATS Russian Troll. I was worried when you were absent for a while. Also, thought I'd say that I like the more assertive nationalism you are posting with now that you are back.

These sanctions have taught me a valuable lesson...

As an American I learned that I'm surrounded by people who have no idea how the global economy works. I about loose it when I hear a Walmart shopping conservative advocate for sanctioning China or liberal sanctioning Russia then in the same breath complain about the prices of cheese doodles.

Do most Americans not understand how global trade works?

Communism is now in the West. Russia is a free capitalist country.

You haven’t even provided a source for where you’re getting these numbers from.

There are no vacancies for truck drivers for less than 300 thousand rubles. Simple couriers and delivery people on electric bicycles and scooters receive more than 200 thousand rubles.

So 2100 USD to 3200 USD? No wonder so many Russian men a lining up to become cannon fodder in Ukraine, it’s probably the only way they can make a livable wage.

Anyway…

President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly pointed to Russia's economic performance as a sign that Western sanctions have failed.

But independent analysts say the growth is fueled by ballooning military production, drawing comparisons with unsustainably high defense spending during the Soviet Union.

Several non-military sectors of the economy are experiencing record labor shortages, as tens of thousands of people have left the country and the army and weapons producers gobble up workers.

Russia has become a war time economy, it’s running on the fumes of the war in Ukraine. I wonder how sustainable that is in the long run?

I live in Russia, in the city of Saratov. I write what I see.
Regarding recruitment into the Russian army. In addition to federal payments, there are also local payments. Sometimes one-time payments upon signing a contract reach 600 thousand rubles. We have billboards with offers everywhere. Russia can afford such expenses.
If you don't believe the numbers, check them. All statistics are publicly available on Russian government websites.
Can't or don't want to? Your problems. When I want to know Western statistics, I look on Western government websites. Just yesterday, in a thread about Navalny, I published a graph of the decline in Britain's GDP. Get your ass off the couch and do the same in Russia))))

Did you see him fascinated with the trolly coin system most supermarkets have had in place since the early 2000s?

That's how often Tucker goes shopping.

I've never seen that, and I routinely go to 3 different grocery stores because they all have different things I like.

Classic "my experience is the norm" small-minded thinking.

And before you falsely and dishonestly try to claim I think my experience is the norm, I don't. Which is why I'd never make such a statement as "Most supermarkets have what I've seen" given you've been to a tiny fraction of a percent of the supermarkets in the country. Try googling "sample size."

Yeah Russia can afford massive military spending, yet can’t even maintain basic civilian infrastructure.

hell they can't even afford their massive military, why do you think they brought out 50,60,70, year old tanks, not deploy the few advanced tanks they have to the front, not flying the few advanced aircraft they have, buying drones from iatola assahola,, artillery rounds from little kim the rocket man, and other supplies from pooh xi.

Really? Russian infrastructure is now the best in the world. Don't believe me? Come and have a look. Carlson, like many people before him, did this and were convinced of it.))))

If in a tactical confrontation it is much cheaper and more effective to use old equipment, then why not do it? Only America and Britain can afford to use missiles worth tens of millions of dollars flying into the desert against Bedouins in slippers with Kalashnikov assault rifles. Russians are more rational. Therefore, you will go bankrupt faster than the Bedouins will enter your cities)))
