You're talking about Muslims? 2 billion Muslims? You think Israel can take on the Musim world and win?

Absolutely, and without doubt. They have finally had enough, and will defend their country against any threat that comes their way. Israel can take on the Muslim world and win.

Exactly. That's the plan. That was always the plan. It's biblical.

Muslims went biblical a long time ago, so what's new here?

Maybe, but I'm not aware of any biblical prophecies that embolden Muslims at the end of days. According to the Bible, Israel brings about the end of the world, and everyone except good Christians eat it.

That's the only reason why any of this is even happening, the Bible and the Book of Revelation.

Gaza is not their ground. You know that right? The West Bank isn't their ground either.

If you want to get picky West Bank and deep into Jordan was Jewish land, and Gaza was part of Palestine land that ran deep into Egypt. So why aren't Egypt and Jordan allowing the Philistines to their land? I'm pretty sure we can redraw the borders to this map below and everyone will be happy. What do you think?

Whatever... The Jews have always been reactionary to the Muslim threat to them.

Since its inception, the Islamic regime in Iran has preached the destruction of Israel. It displays slogans on missiles calling to wipe Israel off the map, and its officials often quote the founder of the Revolution, Ayatollah Khomeini, who claimed that Israel was a cancerous tumor that must be eradicated.

The current Iranian supreme leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, even “predicted” in 2015 that Israel would cease to exist within 25 years. Since this “prophecy” the regime counts the days until its realization in 2040. It has placed a countdown clock on the pilgrim route to the holly Shiite sites in Iraq, and takes care to mention the issue through posters and articles published on Khamenei's official website.

If the Muslims played nice so would Israel...

They're saying we will move onto your land when we've annihilated you.

After re-watching the video and reading the original poem, it seems to mean more like, "I left my farm to go fight. I will return to my farm after it is done." Not exactly "Take more land to farm".

The original song: Hareut

The friendship

An autumn night descends on the Negev
And gently, gently lights up the stars
While the wind blows on the threshold
Clouds go on their way.
Already a year, and we almost didn’t notice
How the time has passed in our fields
Already a year, and few of us remain
So many are no longer among us.
But we'll remember them all
The elegant, the handsome
Because friendship like this will never
Permit our hearts to forget
Love sanctified with blood
will once more bloom among us
Friendship, we bear you with no words
Gray, stubborn and silent
Of the nights of great terror
You remained bright and lit
Friendship, as did all your youths
Again in your name we will smile and go foreword
Because friends that have fallen on their swords
Left your life as a monument
And we'll remember them all…

Haim Gouri
Hareut

For all we know, the re-write could have been removed because some inside Israel objected to their beloved song being used in such an unseemly manner. The original has no hint of "annihilation" in it.

So, beheading kids, raping women in the streets, killing over 1000 innocent citizens and taking, hostages had nothing to do with Israel’s response. You really are blind to facts, aren’t you. No it’s the Bible, that’s the problem here. Damn Jews and Christians acting up again. Why can’t they just die and we can all be happy in our socialist ideal.

What’s written is written. Nothing you or I say will change that. The truth will come out whether you want it to or not. I would suggest some caution on what you support.

As far as your knowledge of who is trying to bring about a final conflict, I suggest you try reading the Koran.

I have it from the highest authority (Baptist minister) that being a good Christian isn't enough.

"If you don't believe in the rapture, you won't be in the rapture".
Baptists are non-creedal, so it isn't a matter of adding pre or mid trib rapture to their creed. Rather it is the only creed.

Note: That isn't all Baptist denominations however, just the biggest in the U.S.

So, you're saying that if it's written in the Bible, it must come to pass? The Israelis are the key to the end of the world, which must happen, and we must have this war because "What’s written is written"? Is that what you're urging me, for my own good, to support?

OH man, when I was kid, if I found myself not in the company of someone I knew was going to be "taken", I'd freak out. You have no idea the anxiety that "Rapture Doctrine" caused me as a kid!

It's such a destructive doctrine. It gives kids no right to plan for the future. Saving money, going to college, unless it's a Christian college, were displays of lack of faith.

The U.S. has a history. Even before Dispensationalism was transplanted from England to the U.S. in the early 1900s, we made up other end of the world next week scenarios.

1830s 1840s people selling their farms, dressing in white robes on a hilltop waiting for "the return". Eventually, dejectedly, returning to life with nothing.

True but I'm talking about 1200 BC so do you think that suggests Jews just happen to be indigenous to the area? You laugh it off as we both can say they were conquered about 10 times, but for some reason, it is not Jewish land, but it's now the land of the so-called Palestine. You do know that even the name Palestine was invented by conquerers, there was never a country or kingdom called that.

DOUBLE STANDARDS...lol

Also, why do you all TOTALLY ignore (you don't even want to debate it) the whole part that Egypt and Jordan are more their land than any place else? The reality is Jordan back in the 40s pushed them out of their land into the places they are today. That is how they ended up there in the first place, in basically Jewish land.

At least agree that Jordan and Egypt created this mess in the first place...geez

One day we might agree on something, but you are so stubborn you would argue that the sky is red.

I'm pretty sure that song and those who sing it will lead to Jews slaughtering everyone they can see in Gaza, raping at will, cutting off heads as the people lay dying, cheering it all on as they record their killing victories, and then, of course, taking naked young dead women back to Jerusalem to parade in the streets to cheers, people beating and spitting on the dead bodies.

You know that map you posted isn't historical, right? What nation did the children of Jacob and Esau establish? Who was living on the Sinai Peninsula in those days? That land was Hittite land, Canaanite land, Edomite land. That land was shared with the Phoenicians, the Moabites, the Ammonites and more.

Do you really think that Moses led the Israelites, Jacob's offspring, out of Egypt, into the desert, where they wandered for 40 years until "God" told them to start wars with people living in that land? That "God" told them to take the land from, presumably, Esau's offspring, so it's their land, even though they couldn't keep it and lost it over and over again, and didn't get it back until 1948?

Yeah, I skipped the whole Papal ordeal, and went from Caesar to Churchill, for the sake of brevity and "you get the idea"-ology.

I don't think so.
Military commanders are expected to prevent such things.
There would be no strategic or tactical advantage to that.
