Perhaps if thing get out of hand Jade Helm will come in handy.

Really, aren't there 57 other paranoid Jade Helm threads on ATS right now...
Unless you were making a joke then...

its almost like buy one get one free! Waco+jade helm = Doom Porn!!!!!!

Meanwhile people here in Waco are sitting back and holding our breath...wondering what will happen.

Lots of local businesses have been closed, I35 some exits have been closed, and nobody wants to venture out.

yea get shot in the a@@ while you run away from some one who hasn't made "appropriate life choices", no thanks. bad people can and will strike when you least expect it.

Paranoia of a society which glorifies guns, perpetuating the glorification of guns.

Oh, and those "illegal guns" have to come from somewhere, usually stolen from people who buy them for "protection", protection from guns that were stolen from other people who bought them for protection...

I live 30 minutes from there...

Anyway, The establishments there were warned to stop allowing those rival Biker gangs to congregate there by the Waco PD on numerous occasions. They were in fact Criminal Gangs and not your run of the mill every day Biker Clubs and apparently they had the establishments there under their thumbs. Well, today is a direct result and culmination of the whole situation. Waco PD seen it coming, everyone else seen it coming too.......

No conspiracy here. Its just what happens when you get rival biker gang criminals all in the same place. Sparks will most certainly fly.

We didn't start this shindig we are just stuck in it,and who in their right mind would drop them in the potential face of violence these days?
As a vet, it may be up to me to use them again.

His place, I wanted booze I took it off.
THEN got into a fight LATER but got to stay.
Some jerk was picking fights and I was waiting to meet him.
I felt better later.

when do the lawyers start killing each other? Just hoping out loud.

I hear ya, the politicians and the bankers have been doing it for years, just not fast enough for my liking.

Who is glorifying guns??

Is there an implied glorification upon ownership of a firearm?

I won't lose any sleep over this. The less gang members, the less crime. They did us all a favor. Adios amigos.

So many here are feeling good riddance .

I have worked with lived next door to and done construction work for some. I would sooner do business with many of them over a lawyer any day. Many of them have more scruples than most lawyers.

To all those spewing knee-jerk comments about not caring about dead bikers....I wonder how many children lost their father in this incident?

Sad.

I know there are a bunch of Jade Helm threads already but since this directly caused the closing of another Texas Walmart, and seems like a complete set up since they sat in the parking lot and waited for it to happen, and the whole area is "unsafe"... it begs for martial law and chaos to reign in order to bring in authority. I don't know if any of the other "gang members" ever showed up... seems pretty quiet. I would like to know if the Walmart ever re-opens. I think it was all too convenient. Also, because much of this info is not being reported now I think it was luck that it was captured.

I feel very guilty for saying it given I don't really approve of guns, but I bet this event was one hell of a spectacle!

I'd want a bulletproof Popemobile type vehicle with my popcorn, mind you...

News this morning is tying it back to the incident in November in Abilene and the issue of Bandidos requiring permission and "dues" from the Cossacks. They have over 100 bikers in custody in downtown Waco for questioning.

People in general are paranoid.

Guns are just a tool to kill, if it isn't guns it would be something else.

The reason we glorify guns is the same reason the USA is in existence today. I'll take my chances on someone stealing my guns as opposed to being a sitting duck, if the SHTF, at least I know I have the option of protecting myself and my family. (Personally I do not glorify my guns, so most people don't even know I have them )

I think when people whine about US citizens having weapons it's more about jealousy than the right to have, and carry guns.

Chaos happens unfortunately, melt downs happen ( Boston ) recently. In situations like this people without guns are sitting ducks.

Stories like these bikers offing themselves is a perfect example of the Darwin Award. 9 less individuals that will not be causing chaos, if you still think guns kill people, then the next time you are in a gun store.......

......Thank a gun.

Paranoia of a society which glorifies guns, perpetuating the glorification of guns.

you may call it "Paranoia", others may call it determent, others anger over being harmed before, deciding i'm not gonna let some lawless thug, kill, harm, or intimidate me or mine. not gonna take the chance that my life or those that i love my be killed because some criminal has a gun and i don't.

beside all that it is our right to keep and bears arms, it says so in the constitution. at least until the SCOTUS says different.

just so you know, out of the i forgot how many million gun owners it is estimated there are in the U.S., 95% never tell or flash the guns that they own. even on here i bet those of us that tell you we own a gun, would never let you know it in real life, until it was time to.

quit believing the hype you see from the from the anti gun crowd or your own government, there's a reason you can't own guns with out all the red tape in the UK, and it's sure not to save lives. even though they want you to think it is.

Oh, and those "illegal guns" have to come from somewhere, usually stolen from people who buy them for "protection", protection from guns that were stolen from other people who bought them for protection...

that is more than likely true, again dollars to doughnuts they weren't stolen from someones hand, they were stolen when no one was home.

well if they were fathers, being in a biker gang, they weren't very good role models. now maybe those children will have a chance to grow up and not be worthless pieces of trash that their fathers were.
