I never said any such thing. Stop lying.

Now that 420 is legal in dispensaries

I don't know what that is.

infused lemonade works well usually,

Lemonade 'infused'?? Infused with what?

but when it doesn't...Lorazepam.. Dr. prescribed.

I don't want a prescription. I don't want addiction issues.
But I'll keep that in mind in case I get desperate.

Do you look at or watch an LED screen? .

I stay off the computer before bed. Usually watch a couple hours of TV before bed.

It's just been proven that the blue light business doesn't actually have an effect on sleep now. Cant remember what study I read but it was very recent, maybe a couple of weeks ago.

I used to struggle with insomnia but was prescribed Mirtazapine which sorted me out. Been sleeping well for the last 15 years now. I just take one 30mg at 9pm.

Try not to eat pizza or foods high in tyramines two to three hours or less before going to sleep. Some food chemistries also inhibit tyramine breakdown too. Histamine is one of the tyramine chemistries, so is peutramine and cadavarine. Umami and other aged chemistries made from some microbes seem to effect sleep.

Okay, I'll look that up and see what I come up with. Thanks.

If you want to go out and party or drink, ...

Nah ... too old. Too tired. Not my thing.

Using drugs do not give good quality sleep, then usually light sleep is longer and deep sleep is smaller and deep sleep is that what we need more. Melatonin also can mess sleep quality because it works totally 5 hours. Eating banana before bed helps too, it increases serotonin and melatonin in your
own system in natural form.

I'll look at all that. Thanks. I'm nervous about the herbals and all that. Don't know how I'll react to them etc.

Onlazipine is a miracle. Asleep in five min and you wake up in the morning all refreshed. You won’t have any dreams though…

I've never heard of it. Is it a prescription? I'll look it up. Thanks.

Cannabis glycerin tincture.
Homemade is best, but store bought works to get started.

Cannabis makes me nervous. Never tried it. I'll keep it in mind for if I get brave.

Sleep? What’s that?

Exactly.

20-100 laps in the pool then a big meal will knock me out for a little while.

I probably need more exercise.

Nightime is just nightmares interspersed between bathroom trips and waking from said nightmares or pain.

The nightmares happen once in a while. Not often thankfully. I feel for you.

Clonazepam will knock me out for a few hours, but save that for emergencies.

Prescription? I'm nervous about prescription because of addiction possibilities.

Trazedone doesn’t work for me and has lots of side effects.

Tried it and hated it. It was like I was drunk.

I made the room freezing temperature

Yeah ... I live in an old house so it's cold in the winter and hot in the summer.
Nothing I can do about it.

Second tactic was (i used this with the first one) making 2 toasts, little butter and cheese on it and ate it with orange juice.

I can't do toast. Gluten!! But I can try a snack. Like a banana or something.

Old beds can lose their comfort.

Fairly new bed. 5 years old or so.

Try audiobooks.

Hey!! Good Idea. Thanks.

Olanzapin is benzodiazepine commonly used in skitsofrenia, psychosis and bipolar disorders. It is highly addictive and longer you use it longer takes gradual stop of medication.

Melatonin

Doesn't work for me.

If your mind is thinking all other things and that avoids you to fall in sleep, you need to stop that and one way to cut that thinking is saying in your mind a useless small word like "the or eon" or similar, it takes you away from issues your mind is busy with.

Sounds easy enough. I'll try that. I do have some anxiety over things but not too bad. I do get things on my mind. Thanks.

Mirtazapine does not cause addiction, long-term treatment may sometimes cause withdrawal symptoms. Most withdrawal symptoms are mild and go away on their own. ( i am a nurse

I feel guilty if I fall asleep before I finish.

No guilt.

So it is guilt you speak of... Doesn't guilt imply sin, at least in a religious context?

Good! I'll look it up and look into it.
Glad to hear you are a nurse. That is a nice field to get into.

Not that I'm aware of. Sometimes I don't take one when I am going out for the night or camping etc. Never really noticed any withdrawal symptoms but I guess I probably wouldn't if I just miss the the odd one here and there. I did find if I take it later than 9pm then I do feel a little groggy in the morning.
The only side effect I noticed was a little bit of weight gain but I started going to the gym a few times a week and that took care of that.
It also helped me cut right down on evening drinking ( It's how I used to self medicate to sleep ). I found that the Mirtazapine also helped me stop over thinking once I got into bed.

Might not be the answer for everyone but it certainly helped me!

Are you using whole pill ? you can split it half if it has a score line ( score line means that medicine in the pill is even), mirtazapin can be split sometimes 1/4, you can ask pharmacist.
