No that is not the reason. Perception Management is the reason.

Do you know what perception management is and how propaganda works?

We do know several things, one being that knowledge is power. That if we look for information on the internet now we mostly get the same old story over and over, often untrue or inaccurate because the search mechanisms are controlled.

If they intend to put up a free worldwide wi-fi it will be used. Free gets it every time. Control, you could shut the world down in a stroke.

What I find interesting is that in most of the cases that would warrant the employment of these childishly simple deceptive tactics, the deceptive tactics would not work.

It is kind of self-fulfilling that these tactics will be employed by the ruling class and not in the interest of national security. Really goes to show that some of the wrong people have pull.

"What do you want to be when you grow up?"

"A rich man's b1t(h just like my daddy!"

"Good boy, Johnny, now make sure to laugh at the poor people. They are poor because they are lazy and stupid."

"Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God." Matt 19:24 biblehub.com...

"But you are just a loser. I would rather sell out than be a loser!"

Any highschool grad, or entry level college student can make up those charts, and graphs. I really don't buy this, I mean I'm sure there are "agents" who look at various levels of internet communications to gather information about the populace, but it takes a lot to sway their opinions. For instance I am posting my opinion, you will either agree or you will not. You still make the logical decision on what you want to believe.

For instance, unicorns do not exist. There has never been a real specimen ever, outside of stories there has been no proof.

Yet some may still choose to believe in unicorns, or in fact agree that they do not exist. Simple!

To accept this, one must accept the fact that they are inherently manipulable. I tend to believe that most people here are not that manipulable. Are YOU easily manipulated? Do you go with the herd or think for yourself?

Maybe they want you to believe this, so you will be suspicious of everyone, overly skeptical.

Everyone is a troll?

Seriously, I am sure they attempt to do things like this, but I doubt they have much success in achieving their objectives. You have to have a little faith in people.

So ATS, do the paid posters here control you or not?

Studies have shown every human is "inherently manipulable" no matter what we think we are.

HA, one day there may be more paid posters than real ones.

That's not quite as absurd as you think. Forums, as social constructs, are defined by their users. A demographic shift can affect their very nature. One day, there might be so many shills onboard that ATS will pretty much stop being a conspiracy theory website and will reform as a skeptic hub. I'd say this is already underway, but hey, what do I know?

one need look no further than any chemtrail post on ats to see Online Covert Operations being used against Truth, also ats motives in general are in question ever since sandyhook and the shunning that has happened to all discourse of it on this site..

Clearly one often used motive is to absolutely close a thread that could have wide ranging influence. Say things that will push the limit of the rules and start arguments for the sake of closing the thread quickly. Sometimes I just see an interesting thread and poof...it is gone!

That is true, the ridicule in even thinking that. Was mostly until ATS confirmed "activity". If I remember correctly, that was only last year however, after Snowden's info was first released.

Yep, that thread was from December 2013, not even three months ago. It was a popular belief until recently. Here it is :

Are Paid Disinfo Members In Our Midst?

And now that ATS has confirmed this practice, why are people claiming that everyone knew as much, that this is old news?

It's like one of those weird "We've always been at war with Eura...hum...Eastasia" moments...

If what you say is true, then everyone here must be mindless sheep.

Sorry, I've seen enough here to have more faith in people's ability to think for themselves.

If you've accepted the fact that you are inherently manipulable, then you have already given up. It's an internet forum, not a good tool for attempting to control the thoughts of others, and if you are that easily manipulated you really should not be online.

Really people, do you believe they can have this kind of power over your minds?

I have a degree in Social and Behavioral Science. What you need to do is look into this a little more. We like to think we are special and cannot be manipulated, but there is No human who cannot be manipulated.

Yes. Also i didn't say that was the reason, I simply offered that there was a valid argument (not accepted by myself) which I at first did not even recognize.

There are those who can not be manipulated by other humans, but they were once just as easily manipulated as everyone else. Once worldly perceptions are disregarded and human thought is no longer found in a person, that person can no longer be manipulated by other people (define manipulated, though. Their emotions, and if lied to their actions, but not their precepts). Those people are extremely rare. It is something I have been trying to attain but people CONSTANTLY wanting to manipulate you make it very hard if righteousness is what you are looking to attain.

I never said you said it was the reason. You asked a question to promote thought, well I assume to promote thought, and I provided my thoughts on the answer.

He was referring to the psychological phenomenon of "argument from a position of authority." It is commonly used to subvert free will and discourage thought.

It is true that if a news anchor says "studies show," the majority of the population, after a long day at work, is extremely susceptible to what those "studies show." Even if those studies are biased or even (hypothetically) non-existent. It is a common phrase used to sensitize and is associated with authority.

This document was obviously intended to go along with some sort of presentation/talk. It makes me wonder what the talker would have been saying when he got to the part with the pictures of the UFO's and the Coca-Cola logos. Anyone got any idea what the deformed Coca-Cola logo is supposed to represent? Is it another language or something?

Good question.
Search shows("Arabic coca cola") it's in Arabic, before and after slides of women of the Middle East.
- PDF Slides

How Corporate brands as symbolism such as Coca Cola relate to subject "brands" such as UFOs , discussed further in,

Groups, "conspiracy stories", persuasion, conformity, etc.

Who is "the Government?" I know who comprises our government, but "the Government?" Never heard of that group. That is a proper noun correct?

Our government is currently comprised of sell outs. That may or may not change, depending on what happens in the next decade or so. I would recommend fearing judgment and siding with what is right in God's eyes.

"Honey Trap"

In "their" terms:

‘Dirty tricks’: UK spies use sex, cyber attacks to discredit targets – Snowden leaks

Intelligence agents working for the United Kingdom have employed “dirty tricks” including sexual “honey traps” to ensnare rival agents, hackers, suspected terrorists, arms dealers, and other criminals, according to documents leaked by Edward Snowden.

continued...

Yet the clandestine activities outlined in the Snowden documents also exit the digital world and enter one reminiscent of a John le Carre novel. The 2012 presentation describes the “honey trap” method of discrediting a target with the timeless art of seduction. The individual is lured “to go somewhere on the internet, or a physical location” where they are then “met by a friendly face.”
