I've always enjoyed SuperTramp.

When I was in Bosnia, I had the opportunity to escort a injured Soldier to where he needed to go (He wasn't that bad, but he was banged up), but while I was there, I had the opportunity to see Night at the Proms. Great time.



One of the laughable moments of that trip is that the Soldier bragged he never suffered a hangover. I introduced him to the concept. Ya just have to love European beer. it makes the kids grow up.

Well. I'll be truthful. Red Dwarf never tripped my trigger like Dr. Who did. They did have some good episodes though, but I think that many of the writing staff had to many conflicts. Just like here in the States. I've seen to many good shows get put on the chopping blocks, just because the writing staff didn't get along and just write a storyline.

Maybe we here in the Shed should come up with our own story and sell it to Hollywood (though I think the the BBC would pick up on it quicker). Oh, wait! We pretty much already have.

But how cool would it be if the BBC picked up the tab and said, "You have two weeks to hash out a series, and we're puttin' you up at Gordi's Island to hash things out." The debates would be epic, and good times would be had by all and I guarantee that the BBC would have a hit on their hands which would in turn be picked up by NBC, CBS, ABC or FOX and turned into a Americanized version. (Which are usually less successful) Gonna have to work on that.

OMG that would be so cool! I want Kiera Knightly to play my part.

We could use the old set and put a Rainbow coloured shed in it. It would probably get more viewers than Downton Abbey.

Seriously, I think we'd be silly if we didn't try, I've read classic fiction that wasn't this epic.

We have to start as a book first though, it's tradition. That way we get the royalties and the fee's from the BBC and other networks. OMG, we could probably buy a holiday shed on an island for gatherings!

I'm off to bed now fellow cast members. It's gone 3am here and I'm seriously flagging.

Oh Tsu, my Doctor's appointment was ok. I have a urinary track infection and am be treating for it. Still feeling a bit crampy, but that should improve soon.

I know a couple of good guitarists, but one of them lives a significant distance away, and the other is oft too drunk to play anything other than total cheese, at which he cannot be beat, but which does not gel at all well with the sort of beats that really flip my switch. That is why I have not been in regular practice with him and our drummer friend. It is a shame, because the drummer is phenomenal.

Incidentally, I have no idea who the most featured guitarist in the video I posted, actually is. The fellow with the white Flying V however, is famous as the fellow who does the Meets Metal videos on youtube. His Sherlock theme tune cover is AMAZING!



The other thing that is great about this fellow, is that he writes arranges all the instrument sounds himself, from the guitars to the drum tracks. Another thing that I like about this fellow, is that he clearly enjoys what he does, and the results of his works!

Can't you and your drummer hook up with another guitarist? Obviously one lives too far away and the other is holding the band back. Don't hold yourself back because of others. Mark, my ex had friends in his bands and he could never leave a friend behind because they weren't good enough. It always held him back and he never got anywhere. A shame because he was so talented. Now he is disabled and over 50 and lost his interest. Sad really.

Then again, if he would have gotten famous he might have gotten into the bad scene and been dead by now. Who knows?
You're still young and still have your passion for music. get with that drummer, have a couple of beers and a good long talk.
