Joint readiness.
I am a vet. What I read briefly was a joint readiness page. Talking about how forces need to cooperate in order to accomplish the mission, that sorta thing.

Now admittedly I didn't dive deep before I got off the page, but no matter. I reckon the page served its purpose...

You tell me. Alexander recommended it...

That guy is the ultimate tool. Right behind him is Aquino.

It was definitely an interesting AMA lineup

I thought the JBA AMA thread was ... very disappointing, but, not remotely surprising to me.

OK now GUT you have taken your own thread offtopic!

Lots of interesting lineups here it seems. Those AMA's were a textbook in what we're talking about. Again: I'm sorry, bro. I really thought I was clear enough, but I see I wasn't. I feel really bad.

ETA: all they will get out of me is that I know their project names for their stupid hologram UFOs.

I'm just worried that it will dry up my intell.

I'm an 8 year vet.
I'm a principal systems engineer (computing) and do a fair bit of information security.
That page had a standard security disclaimer that a lot of sites use.. the law in
question is one of the older ones.. The security certificate had a problem..
which shows that the gubmit chimps maintaining the site are sad sacks.

I wasn't fully enabled for countermeasures.. but I really think you are overreacting..
that page was awfully harmless, at least as far as I can tell.

M.A. makes a poor boogey man.

I didn't think I was---had it panned out. Sheesh, I feel like such scum, I'm already well on my way to getting drunk and cussing myself in the mirror. Literally.

Lighten up dude.
Don't take yourself so seriously.

Even an expert can misread his target.

Yeah, I calmed down. Haha

I don't know much about all that, but that was a lengthy security certificate I waived and it appeared to lead to absolutely nothing

I was worried for a second.

My point was the security certificate itself. That should have been the Joint Operations main page.

I did 8 years in the Navy as a nuclear reactor mechanic. I got out in 1990.
I've been in computers ever since then among other things.

You know Gutsey you could call me on my cell sometime if you wanted...
I'm a regular guy you know.. you'd like me.. I got nothing to hide either.

It is definitely a weird place to have one. Which is why I was concerned it may be a fishing expedition.

I mean think about it, its a "joint operations" page referred by the military's ace paranormal/psy-ops guy and it mysteriously pops up a security certificate once he mentions going there for info.

Good way to get guys like us to hand over our files, right?

You're gonna KILL me, but I've never clickied that "OK" button!! If I just would've added, "But don't click on nuthin'."

Too late for me anyway, Franklin--or someone posing as Franklin, accessed my 'puter in that same time frame. Still have that problem. They KNOW what I like, ahem.

Yeah. If the infosec boys wanted access to our harddrives, well, they wouldn't be polite and give us a pop up warning before hand.

GUT - don't be too hard on yourself man. We've all had those moments I think.
