It was probably an echtoplasmic manifestation in human form.
Im sure your sons body hairs stood up, as he was frightened.
These manifestations are common

I apologize for the confusion, but were the eyes black in the normal sense or physically hollow? As this would be something different then a traditional BEK/BEA

Of course that happened at Walmart. That store is the gate of hell... and I'm only 2/3 kidding.

I have no reason to doubt the story, partly due to weird stuff in my own life and partly because it's likely to have a mundane explanation.

If not mundane, then I have plenty of guesses, but no real answers. Religious paradigms seems least likely of all, though, imo.

People who are "into" paranormal research and stories seem more likely to experience paranormal events, that's for sure. These can even be legitimate experiences viewed by others around them. The mind is very powerful.

That's not the case with me. I have little interest in paranormal (except maybe a good movie.)

To be clear on my encounter I'm not saying the person was an alien or a demon or such. His is 100% human as far as I know and nothing but the black eyes and chilling feeling was out of the ordinary.

The thing is though that our subconscious mind performs an insane amount of calculations. On the order of one trillion per second. Like a damn super computer.
Say there is a dude standing there getting his kicks off watching people react to his black contacts or whatever. Now your son standing in front of him could get the slightest glimpse of him in his peripheral vision and while he doesn't even realize he glanced that way, the subconscious mind sees the black eyes, processes it and proceeds to nudge him in the "holy crap look behind you" direction.

It must have been a terrifying experience and I'm sorry your son is scared. It sucks to feel helpless as a parent.

But I would be willing to wager he will never have another problem like that again. Hopefully he isn't so traumatized as to have nightmares though.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree. I am open as the next person and I believe its not about being open and or believing in such but being in a vulnerable state.

He is not as strong as me nor should he be at his age.

I have experienced the light side of paranormal.... never the dark side.

What he is describing sounds to me like no light coming from the eyes, thus dark.

Either a dark human or???

Had it just been him but it wasn't.. two others saw it. The cashier is assumed.

Idk... really makes me wonder.

When I tried explaining tats of the eyes and other explanations he wouldn't hear it. He keeps telling me he hopes I see it so I can tell him what to think about it.

His friends think they saw another dimension. Lol

Who knows..

Weird story, and it gives me the creeps. I believe you.

Strange thing, my brother and I were wandering aimlessly around Walmart, and as we were leaving, some clerk in the blue walmart smock told us to have a good night. He didn't look normal, or 'real' - in fact, he presence terrified me, as there was something about him that just wasn't right. It wasn't at all like he was deformed or anything I just can't explain how he didn't look as though he belonged here - like, on this plane. His black eyes were hidden behind these strange glasses and when he smiled, it seemed like a grimace. I can't explain, but it was f*cking scary, as though he was baring his fangs and could eat me alive and whole, right there. Instictively, I began running out the large-doors, and I noticed my brother was right next to me. I wasn't even thinking that I might look suspiscious running out of the store, but it was as though I couldn't run fast enough, because I know this guy (BEK/entity/whatever) was looking at me and knew I feared him.
When we finally got into my brother's car in the parking lot, we were in a panic - he it a cigarette and looked over his shoulder, "You know that guy wasn't human. . ."
I said, "Oh my God, you noticed him?" I was nervous and shaking - I've not been terrified like that before.
My brother replied, "That guy was pretending to be human. Let''s get the f*ck out of here."

We stayed up until sunrise, totally freaked out, as though something was watching us (or we were just freaking ourselves out).

Really, I haven't thought about this in a very long time (it's been at least 10 years now). I'm not so keen to believe that Walmart is harboring a bunch of BEK's or aliens or anything, but when you mentioned that your son was at a Walmart, this memory came back to me. Sheesh, that is totally weird.

He said they were black. I think in the op I described no sockets there because he said a black hole but when he read my op he said "no.. there were eyes. . They had no light mom".

My girlfriend works as a pharmacist at Walmart here in Canada. She's told me (half halfheartedly?) that she sees "weird alien people" all the time there.
I don't think she's just talking about weirdos, she's mentioned it a few times/ I'll ask her more about it tonight when she comes over and relate anything interesting to the forum.

I was surprised to find as many stories as I found online of people stating the same exact thing he described. I totally believe he saw something that wasn't "natural". Other than that its pure speculation.

Crazy looking people are found at wally world!!

Over the summer in Florida I saw a grown man in his fifties with a big ole belly and bald head walk by me in an aisle as he SUCKED ON A PACIFIER. That's not natural either. Lol

Walmart shoppers are a breed of their own at times.

www.peopleofwalmart.com...

Maybe add black eyed people to this list?

Look into what a Tulpa is. Simply put, it is a legitimate object/entity whatever, that is ACTUALLY THERE, but isn't real.

They don't have to be manifested by you yourself, but if you go searching stories like this out I think its more likely to happen to you. And this goes for all types of paranormal events.

Now, if a person or group of people can manifest a Bigfoot, that is seen by multiple witnesses, then it is equally feasible for attributes that aren't real to be projected onto an actual thing or person.

Sorta like what wrabbit was saying when he called it a projection.
I think this would be the same mechanism at work.

Take it with a certain grain of salt. Not that there isn't something odd going on, more so as to not frighten yourself or frighten your son anymore than he already is.
This story sends shivers down my spine, I'm keeping it at arms distance for now lest I have nightmares.

If manifestations happened in regards to all I believe in or seeked out. I would have a lot of cool stories to tell but that's not the case.

He is too busy with hockey, school, work, girls and friends to have projected this himself for all to see. If the being projected then I can understand that side of the coin.

We have had deep subject conversations and neither of us have ever believed in " demons".

Like I said before he is under the impression the being was reading his mind and did a fake smile like yeah... what you're seeing is real.

Sounds like a very accurate description to what I'd think it was.... That's exactly what I think he was doing. Personal amusement for him/it in such a public place, anyway.

Dont let it in your house if you encounter one again. in fact, just avoid eye contact with it, or them. Theres a reason their eyes are so noticeable... just deny its attempts at interactions and it will move on. it might come back, but again, these entities get bored if you just waste their time by leading it on, and seem to write you off if you simply rise above their attempts at grabbing your attention.

just curious, did your son happen to smell anything overwhelming during his interaction?

Most of the stories i have read regarding the BEK/BEA's seems to imply that they are from a dimension mirroring our own, hence the black eyes as opposed to white, and their supposed ability to impose fear/will on those they encounter. It might also help explain their reputed ability to cover great distances as their is nothing stating that the distance they travel in there dimension is equal to the distance we would cover in the same amount of time in this dimension.

One other thing, there are stories of them following those they target for hours and even days. They also cannot come into your home unless invited.
