There's a lot of arguing about this, but its entirely possible that modern day Palestinians are the descendants of the original Canaanites.

That land has swapped hands so many times, trying to say that one group has more claim is utter BS. The reason for the popularity of this idea is because of a misquoted bible verse, and of course ignoring that Daniel says that due to rejection of the messiah the land would become “desolate”. The area was promised to “Abraham's descendants”, but guess what, both sides are his descendants. Jews, Christians, and Muslims lived there for years in perfect harmony with no problems, until 1948. All this hair pulling has been a result of that, and no solution is in sight. Trying to say that this or that group has more claim is nothing more then falling for a particular groups propaganda.

No wonder Israel is ethnically cleansing the Palestinians, you don't want any heirs left to dispute your land claim

The only ethnic cleansing that Israel ever needed to pull-off was that of the Canaanites, and they pulled it off.

The Palestinians only came about 2000 odd years after the Israelites were exiled from the land by force. How are they even an issue? They are just the grand-children of Jordan's (and others') refugees.

The mistake was, not exterminating every last living Jew in Israel while the world had the chance (and there were many chances in history) especially the last few decades. So it turned out to be a massive 'fail', as Israel keeps on beating others at war.

Face it Jews are stubborn, the native Indians could learn a thing or two!

Propaganda sucks. But the area was

not

promised to Abrahams decendants. It was promised to Moses and the Israelites, with specific instruction on geographical borders.

The only reason the Jews have made it this far is because of the muscle and backing of the USA...

You need to read that again:

Genesis:
14 And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:
15 For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever

And where was Abraham at that time:

12 Abram dwelled in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelled in the cities of the plain, and pitched his tent toward Sodom.

So Lot was in Jordan, and Abraham was in Canaan, or modern day Israel.

Nice try, but which descendants was god referring to when he spoke to Abraham?
Which people does god swear that land to, in the old testament?

Deuteronomy
8. See, I have set the land before you; come and possess the land which the Lord swore to your forefathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them and their descendants after them.

I couldn't find the part where god promises that land to Ishmael or the Palestinians, but maybe you can find it.

God even explains borders to Moses and the ISraelites, just so there's no confusion

Deuteronomy
24. Every place upon which the soles of your feet will tread, will be yours: from the desert and the Lebanon, from the river, the Euphrates River, and until the western sea, will be your boundary.

As far as Israel occupying anything its a joke i dont think people realize just how much they already gave the palestinians control over.

Darn nice of them to allow them limited control over their own land. Sort of like how we let the American Indians control all the casinos and other bits of land that we have no use for....

Really who land is it palestinians were created by Yasser Arafat. They were created in the 1960s aka the PLO. Now as for rights to the land they declared their independence from Great Britain in 1948 previously it was Britains no one questioned it especially the turks. Then after declaring independence they immediately are attacked by 5 arab nations Egypt,Jordan,Iraq,Syria and Lebanon So they proceed to beat them back and the nation of Israel is born. At this point there declaration of of independence is no different than other former British colonies oh such as the United States. You can argue all you like but they started a country and at that point doesnt matter there is no land dispute that was solved when the arabs lost. Just as it happened thousands of years before someone takes it and someone else will come in later and do the same so when someone overthrows the area kicks the jews out again then they will have the land.Id say the only diffrence this time is the jews will fight to the last man where to be honest before they ran.

It makes no difference who it was that took it from them..... you just prove my point by showing me a diagram of how the Jews are the original inhabitants of that land (since none before them are around today to claim it e.g. Canaanites).

Just like there is no people around today especially the Zionist who are calling themselves Jews who rightfully have no claim to that land.

Do you have any proof of this even happening besides a book that was written by Jews? And even going by your book the Jews have no claim to the land because Abraham broke the covenant with God when he followed his wife's orders over God's. Not to mention seeing how Israel is going against God's laws they are still breaking the agreement with God. So basically Israel is full of lying impostors who are crying for things that they have no rightful claim.

That's to keep each other from attacking the other..NOT destruction of the world which the Jews have openly pledged to do if they are attacked.

If Russia or the United States did a full scale launch it is destruction of the entire world. This is called the nuclear threat any country who attacks them should expect a full scale launch. This is exactly what Israel will do also no different. The only real difference is Israel will just destroy only the middle east.Where others will destroy the planet. Do you think any country with nuclear capabilities is just not going to use them if they feel they are about to be defeated. Not going to happen in fact add china and india to that list as well.

Sorry but this isn't true. Thanks to the traitors in the American government Israel has the ability to reach Europe as well.
Let me quote General Moshe Dayan: 'Israel must be like a mad dog, too dangerous to bother.' I consider it all hopeless at this point. We shall have to try to prevent things from coming to that, if at all possible. Our armed forces, however, are not the thirtieth strongest in the world, but rather the second or third. We have the capability to take the world down with us. And I can assure you that that will happen before Israel goes under. Psychopaths like this shouldn't have nukes in their possession.

Ok i take it you dont like Israel because your ok with everyone else making threats just apparently not them. Israel is no threat to Europe sad you appear to have an agenda so dont want to look at it logically. There is absolutely 0 threat to Europe from Israel. However there is a threat from Iran when they get nuclear weapons and trust me they will. The only people that need to worry about getting hit by a couple of dozen warheads is their neighbors if they try once again to attack Israel.

I don't know where you're getting that from, but that area has been called Palestine since ancient times:
Palestine

However, since even experts on the subject are so jaded that they cannot seem to agree on this topic, I see no point in us hashing over it to death here. Let me say this though...

I come from German, Russian, and Dutch ancestry, but my family has been in the US for many generations. Saying that any of these modern folks, who had not been on that land from 70AD to 1948AD, suddenly have a valid claim, is like saying that I have a valid claim to land in Germany, Russia, or the Netherlands.

Additionally, if you're going to return the land to the original indigenous people, then you should do it for all, not just one group.

That is just a theory and not a bright one at that. So even if a few ashkenazi Jews are originally not jewish bloodline, it doesnt cancel out the rest of worldwide Jewry that is historically, archaeologicaly and politically traced back to the land of Jerusalem and Israel!

You forgot this park: en.wikipedia.org...

In 2003, a military historian, Martin van Creveld, thought that the Al-Aqsa Intifada then in progress threatened Israel's existence.[29] Van Creveld was quoted in David Hirst's The Gun and the Olive Branch (2003) as saying:

We possess several hundred atomic warheads and rockets and can launch them at targets in all directions, perhaps even at Rome. Most European capitals are targets for our air force. And I can assure you that that will happen before Israel goes under.[30]
