Everything's right about mine, noithing can be wrong abouyt mine because I don't have one. And before you start saying that I'm a really sad person with a pointless existence because I have no faith, dopn't bother. I was just pointing out that it seems bloody stupid to talk about your God as forgiving and loving if at the same time you ask how will you "justify" yourself to him at juedgement day, you wouldn't need to. It's either one thing or the other, the two theories are mutually exclusive.

And from the first statement, there's already been a judgemental implication, that other religions are inferior because if you accepted Jesus you'd have something better. Real tolerant. I've met people like this before, sinners who found religion then felt the need to bring it into every aspect of tehir daily life whilst chastising and preaching death and damnation to other religious believers, homosexuals, criminals, anyone who didn't fit into the image of their perfect little world.

Let people believe whta they want to believe. Just because you think you've found eternal hapinnes in the form of some intangible two thousand year old figure doesn't mean that everyone else has to justify themselves for not doing so.

What if that what he said are a lie...........then what does a ''muslim'' do ???

Muhammeds "relevations" match the bibles "relevations"?!?!? So what's you point?!?!

The question is "What will you say/do if you are wrong about Jesus?"

Not "Christians -what will you say/do if you are wrong about Jesus?"

So.
You don't believe Christ is the Saviour. What will you say/do if you're wrong??
What if he is the Saviour?

before you go making assumptions...
I do not believe Jesus is the Saviour.
If I die and turn out to be wrong, then I will ask forgiveness of him and accept my fate.

If you're wrong, you're wrong. But you're not wrong, are you? The question is irrelevant even to someone who believes in God not to mention anyone who could have thought up a better story lying in the bath of a quiet evening. What are you guys really trying to find out here?

Have you accepted the idea that no one is right ALL the time about EVERYTHING?

Forget Jesus, forget any particular question.

How do you handle finding out you were wrong about something? Do you admit it and accept it? Or do continue to proclaim your wrong even after it is proven such?
It's simply learning about yourself. You don't have to post the answer on some message board or say it out loud to anyone who's listening.
But you should know the answer to that question.

Back to the Jesus thing -

It's 100% relevant. You are alive. Someday you will die. What do you think happens when you die? You become nothing? You go to heaven or hell? You ascend to the next level? You are reincarnated?
More importantly, how would you react if you were wrong?

Thank you.........and for those that said ..quote///what's your point??? What will you say/do, if you are wrong about Jesus.....

Now.........
Muhammed made some prophetic revelations about the Antichrist........they did not come true........
That is one that is false.......
Though the quran sais that a prophet needs to be accurate in his predictions............why then did not the prophet Muhammed's prediction come true???
If he was wrong with one prophetic vision...........how can others he said be true ???

Also forgiveness is in this world.........not once the world is at ........the end of Antichrists rule......
Revelation was written so all can have knowledge of what is to happen...........and all of mankind is called to be saved............not when they feel like it.......
One that dies can be helped by the prayers of the peope(like they did in the Old Testsment, prayers of good people did help the dead........i have written about thisin a thread about Saints...)
But only if they died with accepting Christ or knowing about His life and teachings.......the rest is in the hands of God........
I never said ''believe in me!!!
All i did was point out what a True Christian is........forgiveness is why Jesus Christ came down......confession is a nessasity of one being Christian......And that too is in the New Testament........
It is not that all Christians will go to heaven......we dont have a first class ticket ready to get out of this world.......

I was merely going by the post ......

Yes i agree............

Near death is not meant to show you heaven/hell .........
Almost all people that do experience 'near death'' see a peaceful , beautiful scenario, but it means nothing to have a 'vision ' type of an afterlife(though not all near death is based on a lie )..........Only because i know that the devil can make you believe and think that you are ''worthy'' to go to heaven , and so , having a ''near death '' experience of a peaceful place can make you think that your life is good and there is no need to change anything about it.........even though you may not have changed to a better person,or changed your way of life , you believe that you have been chosen (near death on peaceful afterlife)to receive this revelation ........cases like this are often dismissed by Church fathers and many times are proven to be demoniv in nature.......only because the devil........is the prince of the air..........and he is a liar...........Father of lies....

Helen, of what I've read and experienced of NDE's and OOBE's no one and nothing has any power whatsoever over what happens to you. No one. You ask for something to stop. It will stop. When you are out of your body, everything obeys your command, unless you don't believe so or unless your subconscious mind is busy...

No devil, nothing else...

p.s: IMHO, the devil is just something conjured up to create fear in people... Nothing more.

to God when I die. I believe that once you die, you are filled with the knowledge of the world. However, I would ask God one question.....

Why do you claim we are all your children and you are our father, and then say that you sent your only son to die for us?

29MV29,

That is a good one... But he'll probably reply with: "I have never said that. The religion has said so, and I am not the religion."

You are WRONG to the 10th power. It's so incredible how wrong you are. First of all, don't call Muslims followers of Muhammad because unlike Christians, Muslims answer to a being much higher than a prophet= GOD.

Christians, on the other hand, worship a man who bled like us and who breathed the same air as us. Christians worship Jesus when Jesus himself said that God is way more higher than him. So let me ask you this question Helen. Why do you worship Jesus when God is much more powerful than him? And don't give me this trinity crap.

And Muhammad never was wrong in his prophecy. Muhammad predicted the Roman victory over the Persians years before it happened. Bet you didnt know that did you..

Why is miracles and prophecies so imporant to you? God didnt send us Muhammad to cure the sick, He sent him to bring us a better understanding of Himself.

And what if you were wrong about Mohammed, or Confuscius, or Vishnu? How can you as a mere mortal be sure that your religion is true and right, or that any religion is, for that matter? Christians really ought to put themselves in other people's shoes, and try to understand why they believe what they believe.

"Believeinchrist", am I right in thinking that you believe in God, and that Jesus was the Messiah, because you were brought up to believe it? Religion is more often than not inherited, and even sometimes forced upon us. There is little that can be done to challenge the beliefs of a lifelong Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, etc...

I personally do not believe in God. I have no doubt that a man called Jesus of Nazareth existed, and that he thought he was the son of God, but I do not belive in his teachings. I may very well be wrong. But then, so might you.

Ummm about God though. If you do too much people begin to rely on you for everything, if you do to little they loose faith. Maybe God has to be choosey about what he interveines in. Any way if I found out that I was wrong about Jesus, I would probably not care. If I was wrong about Jesus I was probably wrong about God, Allah, or whatever deity or higher power started this whole universe. I think I'd be SOL anyways so no point in worrying.

So how many ''humans'' do you see that are raised from the dead.........
Jesus Christ Fullfilled the Old Testament.........there is much proof of this.......
Muhammed , although spoke of God.....where does one look for him concerning him to be a prophet and the last of the prophets.........

Look Illmatic........if im wrong about Jesus Christ........then yes ''Islam '' is close to Worshipping God.............
But if im right.............then Your Wrong............For there can only be one right.......and not two,or three or four........

Yes prophecy is definately important.......how else did the birth of Jesus Christ get fullfilled........it was written in Genesis...............
All throughout the Old Testament there is prophecy and prophets whom speak of a Saviour...................

Well, humans are raised from the dead all the time. People have been "brought back to life" after being clinically dead for signifigant amounts of time.

Jesus Christ Fullfilled the Old Testament.........there is much proof of this.......

Actually, there is no proof to this. Unless you consider the Bible as proof, that's about it.

All throughout the Old Testament there is prophecy and prophets whom speak of a Saviour...................

And death, famine, destruction. The Old Testament is full of killing and retribution. Kind of odd that an all loving God would be so eager to deal out death and destruction to his "sons and daughters." Don't you think if there was a God that cared, he would stop his word from being further manipulated and save many people a grizzly death at the hands of religious fanatics?

Have you even stopped to consider the horrors "religious" leaders have forced upon people throughout history? Namely christians and catholics.

To worship a God the Old Testament describes is to sin against humanity.

I already challenged you to try to find someone else who might have been the last Prophet of God, since your so correct when you say it wasnt Muhammad.

There's many verses in the OT that refer to a Savior? Funny, last time I checked there were verses that didnt.

I, Even I, am Yahweh, and beside me there is NO Savior. Isaiah 43:11

How is Islam "close" to worshipping God. Helen, you have no clue what your talking about. That's why the name itself Islam means submission to God. That's why 5 times a day Muslims bow down in worshipping God..
