I melted my 315p ship and went for an Avenger to see what it looked like in the hanger. Its a nice looking ship has a small cargo bay at the rear that gives access to the cockpit. Just not AC ready yet, but its a nice ship indeed . After checking it out a while i melted it and got back my 315p as its now available in AC.

BTW boymonkey74! whats happened to you're awesome Avatar of the monkey scrubbing the dog. That Avatar made me giggle to myself every time i saw it

Ive been over at RSI and the forums
and what i can say is, i probly WONT
pledge or even "buy" this...
I have a STRONG feeling it will be just
another eve online. In a new wrapping
and with some more functions. But still
CCP has made some bold promises about
"walking in stations" were youd be able to
interact with other players... Im still waiting
and ive played that game for a LOOONG time...

Landing on planets, same thing, ITS A FRIKKIN
planet, but the area of interest or the area of
interaction will most likely be PUNY at best...

Heres another thing, REAL LIFE PHYSICS, hmmm
to be a PIRATE in space with real life physics...
Seriously.. The shere size and emptyness would
negate that option..... BUT, as with ALL games,
we "HAVE" to balance it...

Naaa, promises promises...

Gonna be nothing like eve online.
You control the pilot who can control a space ship, you can get out of your seat in space and dock with other ships and take them over.
It isn't just a space sim...it has everything.
Look at this video made by fans with the stuff they have released now.



This will be happening in game. Every character you see here will be an actual player.
There will be no inventory boxes when you raid a ship the stuff you find will actually be rendered in game and you will have to move it yourself.
Everything in your cargo you will be able to see in your ship.
Eve online is a number crunching game nothing more and to me was so boring.
Imagine you and 5 pals working together actually being part of a crew like star trek.
If you read all the reports about the game you will understand this will be the next big thing....like Chris Roberts says it may be as big as star wars.

Oh and 1.1 is out soon and after that we get the FPS module .

At the moment we just have arena commander which is dogfighting with others or against the vandel swarm.
It is the universe s arcade machine to test ships etc.
In future updates this will include the capital ships.
The timeline is getting all the ships in it balanced and such.
The fps module is on the horizon and the persistent universe hopefully out at xmas.
If I remember correctly the single player campaign is out just before.
you can either complete the single player campaign thus becoming a star citizen or just jump into the pu straight away but I think you will be better off doing the single player campaign to earn money....then into the pu to discover the stars.
One good thing is you can discover warp gates and such and you can name systems if you discover them.
Head to the site or tge youtube channel.
Best communication I have seen between players and devs.
After all it is Chris roberts baby.

One thing about the pu iam impressed about is you can choose how much interaction you have with real players in the pu.
If you don't want muxh pvp you can adjust the scale.
they have made the pu run with cloud tech.
They are reinventing how a mmo runs if I was mire tech savvy I could explain.

Auto landing is now in plus multiplayer free flight which is so much fun with a few pals.
Oh and in Arena commader now you can earn credits which can be used to buy and try other ships which you have not tried yet....as a long time backer I got a million of these so I can just about try every ship now .
(note remember Arena commander is like an arcade machine in star citizen...ships bought in arena commander will not be in the PU).
