Food Stamp Cards Inoperable East Coast?

The time for finger pointing and smug self satisfaction is sadly thru my friend. As you said, its everyone now but in truth it always was. So what side do we fall on now, who do we paint right and wrong? Does it even matter?

Actually you would want the house pets. Cats will deal with the incredible explosion of mice and rats, and dogs are good for hunting people or anything else.

I read this post earlier today and then kinda forgot about it. DH and I went grocery shopping this afternoon (like pulling teeth to get him to go at all) and there was a sign on the door, then one inside and then even more, one on every register saying that they apologize for any inconvenience. I frequent this store and know several of the cashiers on a first name basis, so conversation was easy. They said it was down since they opened and that the EBT customers ranged from embarrassed to downright irate! The employees were having to return cart's full of groceries to the shelves and they were losing having to throw away frozen and refrigerated foods that weren't being put back fast enough.

This is just sad, really very sad. I am not a fan of those who abuse the system, HOWEVER, my family has had to use the food stamp program before ourselves and there are honest, hard working people out there who just need that little extra to get by and feed their kids! I sincerely hope this gets worked out soon!

whatever the government is 'doing' is being orchestrated by Rich Americans (including israelis in congress, zionist london royals, most all American citizens too).

it stands to reason that they are targeting low and middle class into misery so they will succumb to the new order with eventually little/no resistance, and all their former assets harvested by America's filty, rich governing people, the elite.

Is their any information indicating this is anything then an outage that IT staff's deal with around the world on a daily basis?

Complex networks, no matter how fail safe you think you are, always have the possibility of failing when a computer\switch\router\people are involved.

So far I haven't seen enough info to think it is anything but that , not saying it can't be I just don't automatically assume when something goes down some l33t script kiddie in a Fawkes mask just launched a DDoS.

My sister is on food stamps she stocks up when they come in so it looks like she is buying a lot but it has to last her all month. She gets mostly canned or frozen food. She has one child and gets about $275 a month in food stamps. That is a Month not a Week. So she buys most of her food once a month. How much do you spend on food a Month? My mom spends over $200 a week cash on food for her and dad. that is over $800 a month. But people bitch about people on food stamps trying to feed their child on $275 a month? My sister works part time (the only job she could find). Can you feed your family on that? I couldn't I spend about $100 cash a week or $400 a month cash on food and that is eating poor quality food. $275 a month comes to about $63 something a week can you feed a child on that? I don't know where people get the idea that people on food stamps are living high on the hog and able to buy all the food they want it just isn't true.

People scam every system. Look at all the CEO scammers. Are you cool with destroying all corps based on corp CEO scammers?

Do you really have evidence that the majority of people on food stamps don't desperately need them? My guess is you can't name even ONE study that points to this fact. You probably heard "rumors" of family abusing food stamps and use this rumor to judge all people.

IMHO its a dry run to see how the public will react when their is no more money left to fund programs such as this.
