so let me give you a few words of advice:

If you wish to be taken seriously as an avionics expert
I'd give these chem threads a wide berth
or at least limit myself to the aspects relating to avionics
with the same style and level of professionalism used on your threads for 2 reasons:

because they are not your field of expertise

one is known by the company one keeps

in your case it's as if jim oberg were trolling in the 911 forum

I don't follow your reasoning here. The chemtrail myth centers on an alleged conspiracy involving large numbers of aircraft supposedly spraying something. Who would be better qualified to comment on that than an aviation professional?

Try using the filter to clear the screen up a bit. Set the lower limit to at least a few thousand feet and make sure the upper limit is in the high 40's so you don't miss any. Also, bear in mind that planes can be a lot further away than you think This a good guide on that contrailscience.com...

That's a very good point actually. It would be easy to think a trail in the sky is a lot closer than you think and dismiss the plane on screen as being too far away. This is one of the things that experience will make clear, being especially helpful as a learning process if there is something distinctive to practice on like two planes about to cross paths and you can see this happening on screen at the same time, as in a sort of x marks the spot excersise.

I live in MI, and drive to Detroit 5-6 days a week for work. The sky has been absolutely clear here for over a week, no planes dumping that #e....although there are plenty in the sky. One thing I have noticed though, is that there have not been any tanker airplanes taking off from the large ANG base by Mt. Clemens (I drive past it almost everyday). On the days that there is heavy spraying, there are numerous large tankers flying about.

Some may say that this is all circumstantial..... But following Occum's Razor, if it walks like a duck, then it probably is a duck. But that is just my 2-cents from experiencing all the activity associated with this phenomena.

I want to thank you for answering the question of the OP. The guy Zaphod58 shows up and derails just like I said would happen before the mods removed that part of my OP.

No where did I say I have proof or can provide proof. I don't care if you believe or not what clearly stated. I just wanted to know if your cities were clear like Cincinnati has been the last week.

Maybe there was a connection is all I put out there. Now its about patents and Agenda 21.

Yet i've asked numerous times to him, why he feels it's his duty to comment on every Chemtrail thread, you get a typical politic answer, no evidence suggests they're real.

So once again thanks for answering the original simple question.

Just wanted to update there were 0 chemtrials in the sky's last night or this morning on my way to work. Just clear blue skies and about 7 Airplanes with the Contrails you expect. The ones where it looks like the plane has an inch of smoke behind it in the air. The Inch of smoke stays constant with the plane....No lingering whatsoever. When plane is out of sight line so is the contrail.

Ground Temp on way to work was between 48-51 degrees depending on area. 10/11/13 Time to work from Northern Ky to Mason OH was about 30 mins.

to Zaphod58 and the others on here that didn't answer the original question and decided to argue the whole time about chemtrails don't exist, that is your opinion and thats fine, but for the last week there haven't been your contrails that linger and spread out like clouds in the skies in Cincinnati. Please explain in great detail because of your avaiation and weather expertise in the subject of why we have had 0 contrails as you claim they are in Cincinnati Skies for the last week???

So you know as much as anyone who is into the subject of Avionics??? Well you certainly have fooled many on here, there was a post early about a guy saying how you know more than everyone that posted combined.

You are an amateur or novice in the field just like the rest of us. Your not far from Cincinnati, only about 4 hours as you said yesterday you were in TN. I offer this once again. Come hang on at my place, we'll sit in the backyard, have 2 acres and open skies and we can watch the planes go over. You can explain why one plane has a contrail that dissipates then why another about 2 inches in the sky from that planes is leaving a contrail that lingers hours after the plane has gone. Then that lingering contrail will be spread out by the wind and look like a whispy cloud. Because I watch them daily except for the last week which is why I posed a question "could there be a link between gov't shutdown and chemtrails"

I hope i'm actually right, because if there was a connection that means dropping Chemtrails isn't as big of a deal as some claim.

Oh and explain why the long lines of contrails are being used in imagery all the time now??? A production company at the end of the show the league has a dog sitting on a beach with about 15 lines of contrails. This image is computer generated. Grand Theft Auto uses them. It seems they are conditioning them for future generations to believe this is normal and just cloud cover. I would bet you everything I own to your 100 bucks when you were a kid you never once drew clouds like lines criss crossing in the skies.... you drew a little roundish shaped cotton ball. Now your grandchildren will be drawing x's in the sky think about that....is that right?

I just want my skies back. That's all. Plain and Simple. It's nice to see the blue again without the sky looking like a checker board.

Because the weather hasn't been right for them. There have been dozens of contrails out West and down South, you're just having a good weather period right now. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Do you even understand the difference between avionics and aviation? Obviously not. Avionics are the electronics and instruments on an aircraft. I didn't specialize in that, so I'm not am avionics expert. I was a generalist, which means I worked on many different aspects of many different planes.

At least understand what you're taking about if you're going to try to jump my ass over something I said.

I just want to know what cloud seeding is termed. Is that chemtrail or contrail or.. just.... cloud seeding?

Im learning... lack of time prevents me from researching at lengths.

NO you are the only guy that I recognize from any Chemtrail thread I've ever read. You get on every one and claim this and that. I've asked why and all you can say is "I want proof" Proof is impossible on here. I could show you government documents, witness testimony, show you the plane and your comment would be still not proof.

I didn't claim to have proof. I said are there any in your skies. Thats it. Chemtrails are the black sheep of this site, which is quite amusing considering. no matter what though you are on every one, which is a red flag to me my friend.

LOL, okay then explain to me what conditions have to be for contrails.

Very grateful (see how ridiculous things have become!) for a non chemtrailing day today.
Beautiful blue skies with very few planes, all with short lived contrails.

And a big pre-emptive NO! I am not confused or mistaken. They are just not spraying today.

I don't believe in many things that people post on here, but I certainly don't get on every thread to comment for no reason. If you don't believe why do you feel in necessary to comment??? Seriously???

I've asked several times, you keep giving vague proof or why not educate others crap. I don't believe in the Loch Ness Monster but that doesn't necessarily mean I'm right. I certainly don't get on every thread about it and repeat the same things over and over.

Wow OP ...you know I do believe you are right . I had for the first time went out and taken pic's of the trails in the sky about a week before shut down ..although I didn't consider it at the time of the shutdown I have notices many clear blue sky's this past week ..well except for the cloudy days ..even today its clear and blue ..nice catch ..S&F

Sorry for going off track with the patents. But at least I did answer the OP's original question about sky conditions in my area since 10/01/2013. Clear until 10/05/2013 when I photographed what I believe is a chem-trail which I posted. I now have the offending aircraft ID and technical data. I will go back and edit that data in my previous post.

Thanks mrthumpy for the tips for using flightradar24. This morning I was able to go back and find the aircraft previously mentioned.

Today is totally overcast here in N.J.
