If I had to choose what about the reporting made me the most mad, it was that they kept claiming she rammed that police car and put a cop in the hospital, when it was obvious from the damage to her car that she did not. They were also trying to claim the officer had to be removed via the jaws of life, but it looks to me like they just opened his door...

This video blatantly shows her vehicle had nothing to do with the totaled police vehicle.
Hamden periodontist Brian L. Evans, D.D.S., M.S. was honored by the United States Navy earlier this month for completion of five years of reserve duty after his initial 3 years active duty.
Among the decorations Lieutenant Commander Evans earned and received was the National Defense Service Ribbon and Commendation Medal. Presented by Admiral Cullison in 2007 was the Commendation Medal for his meritorious service in the superior performance of his duties as a staff periodontist while serving active duty in Norfolk, VA July, 2004 through July, 2007.
A black Infiniti with Connecticut plates strikes a security post at the entrance to the White House at 15th and E streets NW. Witnesses said officers pull a metal barrier into the driver’s path, but the driver accelerates, knocking down the barricade and striking a uniformed Secret Service officer before hurtling east down Pennsylvania Avenue toward the Capitol with police in pursuit.
And, it was pretty much acknowledged early on in this thread that the cop car damage was not from her but was a result of the chase.

So, because that action seems irrational to you, it is ok for those on the scene to impose a death sentence? Are you American? Have you heard of due process of law?

Did the cops or media acknowledge that early on? I don't think the media has acknowledged it YET! All we know is she sped off from a gate, clearly we know this from the video. Wow man, that's a real badass scary terrorist. Everything else reported in the beginning was a complete lie, we know this now.edit on 3-10-2013 by Wookiep because: (no reason given)
