The Republicans control the House.
The Constitution says the House controls the "purse strings", they get to decide what gets spent for what and how much.
The President and the Senate can ask for money, but the Constitution gives control to the House.
The House being ELECTED every 2 years was seen as most responsive to the American people, if the people want nothing spent on whatever program or department it the Constitutional duty of the House to defund it.
It's called Checks and Balances
So what are Democrats "demanding" exactly???
Why is this such a hard question for you guys to answer?
They demand the staus quo and the republicans to rubber stamp everything they want to pass. Thats it.
They do?
What exactly are the Democrats trying to pass right now that they are demanding a "rubber stamp" on?
The Tea Party is holding the government hostage.

The answer is easy: Just today, Odrama has demanded an unlimited debt ceiling, and the HC law to begin with absolutely no modifications.. It is all over the news..
He is blaming republicans for not allowing him total control of everything just like Pol Pot had, or Fidel Castro, or just pick any past or current dictator of your choice for a even comparison..

Neat point: Checks and Balances
And since the Congressional districts are generally equal by population, it makes sense to see that the majority in the House actually represent the majority of the population IMO.
It looks like the Democrats are *demanding* that the House Republicans should go against the majority of represented citizens.
IMO, the *out of balance* at the Federal level lies within the Senate.

Then your opinion would be wrong. The facts are the congressional districts are so gerrymandered right now that the House does not in fact accurately represent the people being governed.

The Republicans compromised to the point that they will fund Obamacon but in return Obamacon will have to get rid of all exemptions, waivers, etc. And Harry Reid won't even agree to it. hahahaah
This just proves who is really the corporate puppet.
