No! The government lied about 911, they lied about the Iraq war, they lied about Afghanistan war and they are lying about the Syrian attacks. I will bet my life our own government has sometime to do with the Syrian chemical attacks. They made it clear they don't want to see the UN investigation. The US government says it has evidence that the Syrian government did the attacks, so why are they hiding it then. Perhaps it's because they are lying.

Thanks ALL for participating. I'll keep on tracking your input!!

As I mentioned earlier, a lot of news to be shared over the next two days will continue to make this thread relevant. So it will be very interesting to see if any of these upcoming News/Talk Shows on Monday (At Least 6) and the Address to the Nation on Tuesday will influence the overwhelming sentiment of "NO" The U.S. should NOT attack Syria.

The interview, Assad's first with an American television network in nearly two years, is scheduled to air on "The Charlie Rose Show" on PBS Mondaythe same day President Barack Obama is scheduled to sit down with six different television networks, including PBS, to make his case to for a U.S. strike against Syria.

100% NO! im sick of hearing about dead soldiers, sick of my country trying to police the world, lots of evidence shows that assad did not use the weapons, sick of wasting money, and pherhaps if urine stream media would focus half as hard on the federal reserve then maybey America could actually get something done that would benefit us, but what do i know.... im just a "extremeist" libertarian minded person

I view this particular juncture in American history as the last chance for the American people to have their say.

I hold this view because if War with Syria goes ahead , it will trigger a World War and if that is the case America will go to marshal Law and the encombant Government will stay in power.

You will not have another chance to have your voice heard.
Scream Loud and Long

No No No No to war with Syria

Glad to see, that most ATSers here are against the war. This makes me believe, all hope is not lost.

And me too, I say NO! Because one can't fight fire with fire. A US strike on Syria only would cause more suffering and misery. As proven countless times, the bombs aren't smart enough that they only would kill the guilty ones.

Finally, Assad and all those who perpetraded all those terrible crimes will face ultimate justice. On that day they leave this earth and meet the creator of all of this.

And watching all those beautiful things that exist right here right beside all this terror makes me believe, that the thing that created all this must be good.

That the world today is in such a bad condition is not it's fault.

No, it was in our hands, and it always is.

peace

Considering the Rebels are funded by the American Government and the chemical weapons where employed by these same rebels.

I don't think installing a puppet government is the correct thing to do.

In the year of 2000 there were seven countries without a Central Bank:

Afghanistan = FIXED BY AMERICAN INTERVENTION

Iraq = FIXED BY AMERICAN INTERVENTION

Sudan = FIXED BY AMERICAN INTERVENTION

Libya = FIXED BY AMERICAN INTERVENTION

Cuba

North Korea

Iran

DEMOCRACY.

Before Gaddafi was killed by American Privateers.

1. There is no electricity bill in Libya; electricity is free
for all its citizens.

2. There is no interest on loans, banks in Libya are
state-owned and loans given
to all its citizens at 0% interest by law.

3. Home considered a human right in Libya –
Gaddafi vowed that his parents
would not get a house until everyone in Libya had a
home. Gaddafi’s father has
died while him, his wife and his mother are still living
in a tent.

4. All newlyweds in Libya receive $60,000 Dinar (US$
50,000 ) by the government
to buy their first apartment so to help start up the
family.

5. Education and medical treatments are free in
Libya. Before Gaddafi only 25%
of Libyans are literate. Today the figure is 83%.

6. Should Libyans want to take up farming career,
they would receive farming
land, a farming house, equipments, seeds and
livestock to kick- start their farms
– all for free.

7. If Libyans cannot find the education or medical
facilities they need in Libya,
the government funds them to go abroad for it –
not only free but they get US
$2, 300/mth accommodation and car allowance.

8. In Libyan, if a Libyan buys a car, the government
subsidized 50% of the price.

9. The price of petrol in Libya is $0. 14 per liter.

10. Libya has no external debt and its reserves
amount to $150 billion – now
frozen globally.

11. If a Libyan is unable to get employment after
graduation the state would
pay the average salary of the profession as if he or
she is employed until
employment is found.

12. A portion of Libyan oil sale is, credited directly to
the bank accounts of all
Libyan citizens.

13. A mother who gave birth to a child receive US
$5 ,000

14. 40 loaves of bread in Libya costs $ 0.15

15. 25% of Libyans have a university degree

16. Gaddafi carried out the world’s largest irrigation
project, known as the Great
Man-Made River project, to make water readily
available throughout the desert

Now the Nation is in Poverty and Al-Qaeda run the Government

en.wikipedia.org...

Same guy is holding up both puppets.

Gaddafi shouldn't have tried to go to the gold standard so they wouldn't have to put him in his place.

The last thing we heard out of Libya was Gaddafi is dead you certainly don't hear about the civil war now against the Oppressive government or the Mass extermination of the populace.

Look at the videos out of Libya today.
Now they are planning to go into Syria.

I would have thought they would have cleaned up the mess they made in Libya but no no their Friends in Al-Qaeda can handle it.

So they moved away from libya and it isn't of any concern anymore because Civilians are being massacred and no one is stopping them besides poorly armed civilians.

The US jets are preforming great for the current libyan government, I would doubt there are many if any Real libyans left.
