It is getting really hot over there right now. One wrong move and it could explode. Yet, I do not think Russia will do anything to any American war ship until America actually strikes Syria.

Also, there are some tough as nails military officers, and also highly resourceful, helping the Syrian government in artillery tatics to ward off the so-called `rebel` forces. None other than the DPRK.

It seems all the nations and factions which have a bone to pick with each other are getting a piece of the action in the Syrian conflict. The US government has earned itself some epic bad boy enemies over the years and they have been talking to each other and making friends. So far, it looks like it is America and Israel against all of the nations the US has been trying to hardcore undermine for a long time.

The US gov. really is playing with fire this time.

Both Russia and China have basically said they're staying out of it, but are instead satisfied with the political scolding. (for now).

Still, this whole mess is nothing but lose/lose for the US. Either way, the leader/s of Syria after all this will continue to hate us, and the Middle East will continue to hate us. And now Russia and China will have more reasons to dislike us.

So, why are we doing this again? Oh right, because we said a while back that we would if they used chemical weapons. Please. Do they really expect us to go for that again?

No. And that's the scary part. They know we aren't buying it. They are simply beyond caring about it at this point. And THAT is the scary part.

Oh come on people, this kind of thing has happened before with OTHER nations. The U.S. tested a new Trident off Norway at the height of tensions with Russia in the 80s that almost brought us to nuclear war. Luckily even a then drunk Russian president knew only one missile was not a first strike.

I would blame the contractors before anyone as they stand to gain a whole lot more.

If I were in control of Israel I would put this system on a crash test course to rush into production as it will only save more lives. They don't announce the test because they do not want RUSSIA spying on it.

It's obvious they are probing Syrian defenses, to see which radars are turned on, what action if any was taken. Just a little provocative though, you think?

The scary part is that Russian radars detected the missiles first, so the Russians are there and on alert.

Maybe or maybe not. I can guarantee you that Russia had prenotification of the test.
