Do you support the use of religion as a tool of government? Do you think people should be forced to follow said religious beliefs? You seem to keep ignoring that.

Also, as much as you would like to believe the contrary, we live in relative peace here in the US. Quiet comfortable suburban lives. I can come out in the evenings in my upper middle-class neighborhood every evening and greet my neighbors and I won't hear a pin drop in this nice quiet clean neighborhood. I can choose to jump into my large swimming pool....I can leave my car doors open here and nothing will happen. The truth is, most people live comfortably enough to be oblivious to issues relating to politics or government. Not entirely a good thing but, believe me...no one here is jealous of the rest of the world or is so fearful of the government that they want to leave. Life here is good!

I agree that America should just close is borders and only deal with our friends. We don't need their oil, we can feed and cloth ourselves. Let them keep killing each other. It is time we just take care of ourselves. I have earned the right to complain about my govt, I know there are a few here who understand earning that right.

I do agree but is that going to happen ?

I have muslim friends, they don't read the same book that the extremist do, they believe in love and peace, they don't believe in killing women and children, ever, for any reason.

We do believe in love and peace , but peace is a two way concept. Peace of sheep and wolves is meaningless.

All I hear from our iranian friend is whabi this and whabi that and America this and that, same old tired crap, and still no answer to what he is doing, is he fighting, is he trying to free Iran.

Sorry I can't invent new shiny colorful truth to keep you in joy. I get joy from the faith I believe in. If you are not familiar with true joy , these discussions will be tiring in some levels.

Why should I fight for him when he is not willing to fight for himself.

I asked you to do something , not necessarily fighting. BTW I have learned to fight for myself in many ways and I do fight inside and outside.

You have a very narrow, but precise mindset about what is the "right" action. I strongly advise against any revolution, because many agencies are just waiting for exactly that to happen so they can gain more control. But obviously you won't consider any of my points against revolution. The true revolution is not in the amount of blood you spill, but in the ideas you let take hold of your actions. But I understand some people can't realize that.

Some people can't realize that their very action will end the rest of your constitution, because as soon as law enforcement goes out of the window, you can be sure as heck that criminals will happily step in key positions (as mafia is perfectly ready to do, as we all very well know). And our son's new future will be darker than our present, all that because a few of the people weren't satisfied enough with their present.

I don't think it has occurred to you that much of the unhappiness in that area, is due primarily to religion and your own political leaders. We admit it here in the US. We KNOW when our government does something wrong and we smear them politically and in the media. We constantly criticize our politicians and we vote them out. Our comedians ridicule them and so forth and so on. Like I said, it isn't perfect but, I have never met an American eager to leave the US to go live in the middle east or Africa for a better life. That's because we live happy fulfilling lives here. We are spoiled and some have grown lazy but, that's human nature and something we need to work on.

I am just one Man with an opinion here at ATS. I don't believe everything that I watch either, and I do my own research, I don't allow others to do it for me.

Let me just say this, My best friend was born in Iran. We played football together in high school (hell of a linebacker by the way). Now he may be a Christian, but his parents who I know very well are Muslim. In fact, I know many Persians, most who are Muslim.

Iran has never started a war and it will never start it. it is in the middle of middle east not like foreign powers when they strike and escape.

So the Iranian people should applaud actions against Israel? They shouldnt protest at strikes on Israel?

You are addressing the wrong people with the wrong message and are simply stirring up those already frustrated. Most people here do not "Buy the Mainstream Medias" statements they probably do not even watch much TV, these people here spend a lot of time research and investigating stories on the net to get as big of a spectrum of sources in hopes to piece together a less biased perspective on the issues in the world.

The people here are already doing something about it, they are talking about it, I am sure many of us not only post to fellow people of like interest as yourself, but also speak to those more closed minded at their work place or other social areas. The first step to resolve a problem is talk about it and spread the information and truth.

Lastly I myself sympathize for those who suffer at the hands of the few greedy people in this country who have gained power, but as you have asked us not to consider all in one group to be the same, then please provide the same to us. Do not speak as though ALL Americans believe everything we are told and agree on all subjects or actions of our government.

Understand their are many ways to passively resist violence and war, but each person is simply a master of himself and nothing more, we can change the world but only through our own actions. Refuse to work for a company that makes weapons or funds wars, Refuse to join the service, Refuse to elect those who are warlike.

Please remember we are all not the same, America is one of the most diversified countries in the world, we range from very low intelligence to very high intelligence, from compassionate to stoic, from creative to logical, we are the full spectrum, and so we carry many ideas and many opinions, but one opinion the majority agree upon is that these wars must stop, the fighting must stop, the corruption and petty laws must stop.

Every day we do something, but our government is currently experiencing some minor technical difficulty, and has decided it knows best. As Americans who "Appear" to be responsible for this current system ask that you understand there is no longer representation of the peoples interest.

I do not know how to summarize my post other then ask you understand that we should not be judged equally, as neither should you. And that despite our daily struggles each of us try to do what we can, when we can, however we can, while still trying to hold on to what we have left for lives.

I am glad our iranian friend went to sleep, I just want to say one last thing, they are lucky Israel is as calm as they are. When the leader of Iran stood up and said he wanted to wipe Israel off the face of the earth I think I would have gone ahead and done a preemptive strike if it were me. It is funny how they seem to be the only ones who can't deal with a diverse religious world. In America we all love side by side and respect that other people can believe in the god they want or not.

If someone goes to a different church than I do I respect his or her right to do so. I certainly don't want to kill them which seems to be the only answer for radical Muslims. I never understood why they just can't respect other people's rights to believe what they want.

I am very surprised they have not been nuked into LA LA land already. Trying to bait us into a syrian civil war to hasten the end of the world just is not going to happen. We will strike their air fields, missile launchers, and maybe their command and control and leave it at that.

Personally I grow weary of fanaticism, especially in the name of religion of any kind. And I definitely agree that Iran will have it's own Arab spring. Watch and see how brutal the religious govt responds. That's the one you want to watch, they will make Assad look like a pussy cat, lol.

I don't want to offend anyone here. I may come off as some babbling idiot talking to no one but what else is new? I realize that some may be from different countries with different beliefs and most certainly filled with differing opinions and ambitions. However, I cant help but point out that the US among other nations are literally stuck in the middle of middle eastern issues again; the source, a triangle of sorts.

That triangle is very destructive and has become a continuous danger to the planet.

There are three nations in this triangle.
Iran
Saudi Arabia
Israel

Now I know some of those nations are allied with the US, some may not be. But mainly every nation on this planet is tied to those three nations by OIL and or Religion. 3 of those nations have become militarily and economically, very strong and are being used in this battle for power and control.

Now this may come as a surprise to all three nations, those creating this triangle. But I personally dont hate nor wish any harm to come to any of you. I'm just some nobody with an internet connection watching you all tear this world apart, and its got to stop. This war on terror, its got nothing to do with me and has everything to do with YOU three.

This war on terror is yours. and you can all end it today. Or, you can continue on this path of destruction that will serve no one in the long run. Its infected the lives of every person on this planet. brought peoples of all nations into a state of conflict and paranoia. Right now, this triangle is holding the world hostage.

The latest victim of the war on your personal terrors is Syria. Innocent children. Before that it was Iraq, and Afganistan, even Yemen. Before all of that it was New York. How many more innocent men, women and children have to die? Me and mine? My neighbors? Yours? Everyone's children? How many nations must fall before you three are not "terrified" of the world anymore?

I don't want any part of this madness. If it were up to me I'd pull our destroyers back to our coast. The US, Russia, China, our people cant be part of this messy ambition of world dominance anymore. I would hope that "God/Allah" would place in the hearts of those in this triangle; peace and trust and that you all see this message as truth. Free of hate with no harm intended.

With that I would say this to the President, my ELECTED President, our Generals and our ELECTED Representatives. Our military is not to be used for the ambitions of other nations. It will not be used without the consent of the people. It was not established, and is not maintained for the purpose of serving foreign interests; nor used and abused at the whims and disposal of contractors and warmongers. The lives of those men and women in OUR military are of value to US. Our people, should no longer be urged into conflict that is not ours to fight. Nor should that level of power OVER US ALL be granted to any foreign nation, or organization. Not now, not ever.

I would also say to anyone in our nation who may seek to achieve these types of goals and ambitions for foreign nations, whether by infiltration, threats, violence, subversion or confusion in our country. Go home. Go live in peace. Be a part of the solution, not part of the problem. My homeland can not, will not and should not be the gateway to your rise or personal ambitions. I don't want us nor the rest of the innocent world in the middle of this mess any more.

As for.... what else I can do about this? Personally? Not much. I can only offer those words. The world however, can decide that enough is enough. Maybe everyone can "wake up" and say that, enough is enough. If not, good luck world. This whole mess wont stop until everyone sees the solution and refuses to be part of the problem.

You're absolutely right. we should do something....in fact I'm going to go write an email to my congressman, well as soon as dancing with the stars is over. maybe tomorrow then. oh no, things are pretty busy at work, and with the economy there's ten people lined up to take my place so I can't afford to upset the boss. maybe this weekend.

Wait, I heard there was going to be a protest this weekend. oh, the MSM told me those Tea Party types are a bunch of old white people and racists and I don't want that. And a lot the those Occupy types look like greasy hippies. And I heard some are Marxists. and a bunch are druggies and rapists. and then there's those FBI sniper squads......yeah, the man on the TV told me to watch out for all those trouble makers. besides, I don't want to be on one of the Homeland Security lists.
I don't know, I hope somebody somewhere does something, or maybe this will just blow over.

Israel took over Palestinian's land and killed and terrorized them. They threaten and attack their neighbor. They don't believe in any border. They assassinate whoever standing in their way. They killed Iranian scientists. They are here to divide and conquer. They are not even Jews , Israel is a secular state for Jews.

Bottom line :

Israel is illegitimate state and comparing any state with Israel is not logical , so you are Hypocrite yourself when you don't share your house with Jews and give the land of other people to Jews.
