It's Muslim on Muslim sectarian warfare. Regardless of which sect of Muslims the US helps or doesn't help, Muslims are being attacked and killed as a result. This attack - if it happens at all - will be based on the illegal use of chemical weapons. Period.

The aim is to ensure that no government can feel safe in using chemical weapons against anyone - ever. The Syrian government has been extremely meticulous and disciplined in its handling of its own chemical weapons stockpile over the years, and there's no indication that this practice of responsible storage and management of that stockpile has slid into relative anarchy in recent years. This being true, if it has been proven that these thousands of recent deaths within Syria have been linked to the use of chemical weapons, then the most reasonable assumption - given that no other military entity within the immediate region possesses such weapon stockpiles or delivery capacity - is that the Syrian government (which owns the region's chemical weapons stockpile) is behyind the recent attacks that have featured these very specific weapons.

As for the attacks - if they happen at all - the word is that they will be cruise missile strikes of military aircraft runway surfaces and missile launching sites and facilities. The aim, to make it harder for Syria to launch new chemical weapons attacks and/or get its fighters and bombers into the air for new chemical weapons attacks. The larger aim is to demonstrate that no sovereign nation - regardless of the extenuating circumstances - will ever be free to use chemical weapons against its own or any other nation's people. Personally, I don't see the moral ambiguity in a focused and restricted series of airstrikes against this Syrian regime that target its ability to engage in illegal military strikes if the evidence sufficiently proves that it did use chemical weapons against anyone at all.

Can wolves and sheep untie and live in peace ?

No . Because wolves want it all. They want every single life of the sheep.

There has been many books written , many organizations made , many gatherings held to unite Shia and Sonni sects.

But are Wahhabis among Sonnis ? Do they participate in such gatherings ? Do they believe in peace ?

To answer that , you should do some research for yourself , but I say that no they haven't and they won't.

All I really feel that I can do is type and post links. Use social networking to hopefully soon achieve the kind of "protests" we actually need, and I strongly believe they would not be the peacefull kind.

I think its one of those situations where we are being bated.

We will get drawn in to fight Bashar al-Assad and once we have toppled him
