The particles closest to the coma would be more dense than the ones further out, that's why most of it disappears. If there is a photographer here, they could explain it. Kinda like a shadow doesn't have a solid form, it looks solid, and fades out, same concept. It all comes down to the refraction of light....not reflection, refraction.

Forgive me, I was recalling an article I read about a month ago on fox news, I made a note of it, because the length of the tail was just a little more than the speed of light, 186, 473 miles per second. Here again, trying to recall something, of course, that was high school.

No, I was wrong, they are not progressive stages.

I see the issue now.

Were those pics with those different filters taken in the order you have posted them?

Yes I believe they were like I said I can't seem to find the ancillary supporting data though like the other images which is odd.

Its a comet at the magnification an contrast you have set it looks like three kids with sparklers doing downward short movements simoultanoiusly.

At the distance this comet is from us an the sun its starting to heat up gain an atmoshetere an eject gasses as it heats up an starts to gain its tail ect.

Its a large peanut shaped comment most probably an the three bright regions you see appearing as straight lines is just an awsume effect of three regions of the commett heating an ejecting more energetic gaseous substances than the other less active parts of otf its surface.

You can see the beginings of the tail developing to the left of the image.

I did a little photoshop magic to the comet picture.. I did an HDR and Unsharp Mask to the pic. Not to look for hidden ship btw- but to point out something that simply intrigues me. Each 'arm' of the lights on the pic has it's own 'bubble' around it, it seems. I do NOT know what this means, except for the fact it looks like a continuous, solid object to me. The way the lighting is around it just has no 'composite' feel to it.

I am probably not helping, if this is just a hunk of rock...

These exposures were made while the telescope tracked the stars. Because of the motion of the comet and the motion of HST in its orbit around the Earth, the comet trailed slightly relative to the stars during and between these exposures. This is not the way comets are usually observed. Normally we would track on the comet to keep it stationary in the camera during the exposure. However, in this case we wanted to produce an image of the comet against a background clearly showing stars and galaxies.

Not what I wanted to hear in explanation, in fact rubbish.

I have read most of the posts and have come to the only possible conclusion/

This is a star ship!

My reasoning is quite sound.

Phage has not been on this thread to tell us it is a lens flare or some other such thing. His absence for such a prolonged time in the thread shows clearly that science has no real answer and that in fact this is a space ship.

Sorry phage but, are the rellies coming to visit?

Yes, that was pretty dumb of me.

www.huffingtonpost.co.uk...

I thought it was an effect of the long exposures.

I must remember that google is my friend too.

so let me ask this..

If the way this comet looks is just the way Hubble takes pictures, why does it not do it to all the other comet pictures of the past?

I am not trying to fuel the paranoid, I am just trying to compare this image with others...

I do not see anything else out there like this...

I have seen other pictures of comets that have heated up and they are not symmetrical..the lighted regions from the comet's heated parts are blobular in shape..yes, i know blobular isnt a word, but it is now.

That is as crazy as the story itself! How is this a personal story. Perhaps the Mod made a mistake.

See if it moves again. Unless the Mod wanted the story in a backwater!

You really have no idea about what you are looking exactly with these ISON pics, and through what process they were made.

It is not the same as when they track the comet, which they do in the pics you are talking about.

Ok definately some strange stuff going on ATS. For instance this thread which kinda is relative to this discussion by means of the summerian wing. The second pic in this post looks a lot like the "coils" in the thread about objects around the sun, which I cannot find anymore???
But this sumerian thread is new. Look at the second pic.
Wing

Also there was a thread about how nasa is shutting down some defence grid around the same time ISON is to be seen in our night sky.
Thirdly all the recent doom threads about patty brassard and others who talk about incoming celestrial bodies.

Wow, that's incredible. I cannot even begin to imagine what that is, if it isn't an anomaly by the equipment used to capture the image. Hopefully it's something to help put an end to the madness we've created in this world. God, Aliens or Angels....let's do this!

BPEarthwatch on youtube has a good video up now about his theory on the two streak objects around the nuclei in the middle..in otherwords, the round dot with the two dashes in a pyramid form.

It's something Ive tinkered with, myself, that this is indeed a large body/ planet? with orbiting moons. The moons have to move faster than the planet itself, just like our moon, and so it creates exactly what we see in the pictures.

Anyway..ISON would have to be massive, to actually have moons, and that is why Im intrigued by this. If we are going to have a Melancholia kind of situation, I'd like to know ahead of time so I can eat 4 large pizzas and kiss all my loved ones!

Anyway..watch this video and see what you think!
