there was people saying at one time ISON, had two tails.. This is a very odd picture, has anyone from NASA, explained what the hell this is?
NASA dont have to explain jack #t about that.
Two tails (gas, and dust) is a fundamental basic part of cometary science that you'll find explained in "Basic comets for complete idiots, Volume 1".
Comets actually have two tails -- a dust tail and a plasma (ionized gas) tail.
Oh, look, it turns out that NASA actually do explain it, and you'd know this if you did a google search.

Why did NASA come up with a V FILTER explanation..if it could have been explained as this.

The "V" faces the "tail" of the "comet" in the July 17th picture, but if you look at the images from June 27th images and zoom in on that one, and darken, no "V" anomaly there...... interesting thread none the less. Wasn't there a post recently on ATS that ISON is coming by 666 years after a comet that allegedly caused a plague in the past?

So Tsurfer2000 and you brought forth the truth ... which is always a great thing... even though it spoils the fun, but then there's enough truly odd things out there to keep us busy for several lifetimes. I admit I was flummoxed for a bit up to page 9 or so... which is always fun. Great thread. signature:

Yes if you watch the video I posted from ThorNews..he even says that it was amateurs that RE found ISON..and the professionals are strangely silent on it..they're the ones that wanted everyone to jump on the ISON bandwagon and everyone take pictures of it..where the heck are THEY now?
Usually the conspiracy arises because "the authorities" are in control of all the information, and the public have to take their word for it.
Are you seriously turning this around and claiming its a conspiracy because backyard astronomers, the public, are looking at something (and finding no spaceships) more than you think "the authorities" are doing????
Those trying to claim parallax please explain to me why it shows up in one image and not the subsequent ones?

Again, parallax has nothing to do with that part of the equation.
You can say that the exposures are stacked later but you are obviously looking at the progressing stages of the same complete picture.

hubblesite.org...
so let me ask this..
If the way this comet looks is just the way Hubble takes pictures, why does it not do it to all the other comet pictures of the past?
I am not trying to fuel the paranoid, I am just trying to compare this image with others...
I do not see anything else out there like this...
