Interesting. So this reality that you've caught glimpses of, and the 'Creator' you have come to know- was this all confirmed from your studies in physics?

What are the 'Creator's manifestations' if you don't mind me asking?

No I don't mind... but if you're looking for some tangible evidence that would hold up under scientific scrutiny, you're not going to get it from me. If you think I'm talking about some old, grey haired fart sitting on a grand throne flinging lightening bolts and keeping an eye on everyone's private parts to make sure we're not using them improperly, then you have it all wrong. Or if you're looking to prove just how clever you are by asking the 'naive' ATS poster who and or what he believes the Creator is and what his justifications for believing in such a thing are, you won't get satisfaction.

These are my personal experiences and are impossible to convey unless you could step inside my mind. I don't need to justify my beliefs to you or anyone else. They are mine and I seek not to convince anyone of their validity. They are valid to me and that's really all that matters.

Now run along and troll someone else.

but on the other hand... if you are sincere... I would be happy to discuss with you in a private conversation.

Then why bother talking about it? "Oh, hey guys, I have an opinion! Thing is, I don't have a good reason for having that opinion...not one I can explain to you anyway. So yeah! Just take my word for it!"

Either you're going to share or you are not going to. If you're not going to share, then don't bother mentioning it because doing anything else is just being an irritating little troll who wants attention. So if anyone needs to "run along and troll someone else"...

You get my meaning?

I've been here a long time, longer than you, and most. Trolling is not what I'm about

Why are you getting defensive? If you're going to criticize one person's god or belief, in favor of your own, on an open forum-- doesn't someone have a right to ask what or how you arrive at your beliefs without being labeled a troll?

Otherwise why even bother shoving that in people's faces?

Please point out one example of criticism I've posted here regarding anyone's belief in God... just ONE! You won't find it. Why? Because it's also my belief that Faith is a very personal experience and for the most part cannot be conveyed in short bursts of text on a conspiracy forum.

I'm not shoving anything in anyone's face. I was asked why I was trying to disprove the existence of God. I responded that I was not trying to disprove God but that my concept of God is not conventional.

...and excuse me for calling you out but your tenure here on ATS has noting to do with the trolling nature of your response to me. First of all, you didn't bother to read the previous posts to gain an understanding of the context. Second, your questions to me have nothing to do with the OP's topic. You merely saw my response in the "recent posts" list and decided you would have some fun. Please spare me your BS friend. Take it somewhere else.. and in the future you might be wise to bring your "A" game if you want to play games with me.

What I get from you is no meaning at all.

Was I responding to you? No... but your arrogant nature demands that you must share your trite opinion of someone you don't know from Adam. Guess what... nobody cares. Does that shock you? Do you feel better now that you've reprimanded me? Is your ego satisfied now?

Take a hike.... off a cliff.

Wow. That was such a mature response. I try to do what I can to contribute to this forum every time I log in, and I try to arrange things so that somewhere, someone has learned something because I logged in. Part of that time is spent relaxing and joking back and forth on threads that serve no purpose other than to take a break from the rest of that time spent in arguments and discussions. This is one of those threads where I give myself a concussion trying to beat the stupid out of my memories. And then I throw myself back into the maelstrom, trying to give someone an answer they desperately wanted so they can go to bed thinking, "Wow. I never thought of it that way. This really changes things for me."

...And then there's you. Denying ignorance so hard you splatter it everywhere. Take a chill pill and look at what you're doing here. You may have good intentions, but just having the heart doesn't make you a superhero or anything. You have to pay attention and make sure your zeal doesn't break just as much as you're trying to fix. So take a step back and look at where you've been. Look at how people remember you. Granted, this thread will bury itself in the bottom of the rubbish pit because it's a challenge lost in the flow like someone screaming out the window of a train. Obviously it was never going to hit the mark. But that doesn't mean you can't.

Don't be so quick to get offended. No one wins a war with an itchy trigger finger. They wait until the right moment to shoot.

Nice response.... shoring up your ego must be a full time job.

Good of you to take on the responsibilty of pointing out that my level of maturity doesn't meet with your expectations... Bravo... well done.

And thanks so much for your concern regarding my legacy. It warms my heart to know there are people out there just like you who take such an interest in me. Honestly... I'm touched.

As for my super hero status... good of you to notice.

Listening to and reading about theocracy, symbolism, philosophy, physics, astronomy, and many other things, you begin to come to a conclusion that is hard to express to any one person. Understanding what's in a cubic centimeter of anything, if looked at and understood closely enough, is more puzzling and amazing than any indoctrinated theism. Petty arguments about religion and whatever people think opposes theirs, makes me sad that they don't have a fuller understanding of the universe. It is much more interesting than any one religion can even begin to describe.

I'm in the same boat as you.

www.public.wsu.edu...

Yeah lets agree to disagree on this link with the 20+ different hominid species linking modern human to their apelike ancestor. You do realize these are facts, they aren't up for interpretation, right? They have found 20+ missing links. It's not a personal opinion that you can agree or disagree with. The fossils exist.

Chromosome 2 in Humans and the Chimpanzee

The only remaining explanation for the similarity of human chromosome 2 to chromosomes 2A and 2B in the chimpanzee is that God created mankind with 46 chromosomes including a second chromosome with the visible characteristics that we see today. No evidence or any line of rational thought can explain how a single human underwent a genetic chromosomal fusion and passed that alteration to all of mankind—except that he was created by God at the beginning, along with woman, with that chromosomal makeup.

Again with this NONSENSE, "If we don't know the answer, GOD did it!"

This "evidence" speaks more to the Ancient Alien theory than to a God. The idea of some alien species tampering with earth DNA to create Homo Sapian from the great ape's DNA explains a lot of the problems humanity has with it's own, and it's own environment.

A perfect, omnipresent and omniscient, loving God couldn't create imperfect, wretched sinners, in need of salvation. That character from the Bible is no more God than Morgan Freeman.

Morgan Freeman was actually better at being God.

Why do you keep posting links from alternative sites that are clearly biased? You're just digging yourself a hole.

You make the statement : "The "god" of your religions can't possibly begin to measure up to the Creator I have come to know through my studies of the Creator's manifestations. ", which begged the questions- "did you learn this from physics? what is this creator and its manifestations that you speak of?"

Fair questions I thought. You got defensive for some reason. Regardless, it's apparent from your statement that you have a faith and a belief system that you adhere to- good for you. Faith is important. But what's with the "my god is better than your god" sentiment in that post of yours? If you're not trying to convince anyone of its validity, nor want to talk about what it is, then why bring it up?

is all I'm sayin'
