Perhaps you should look it up and actually question some of the irrational beliefs that Christianity holds. Some make total sense and others, well they are quite shaky to put it politely when you apply logic and reason to them.

Yes, I tried to kill myself 23 years ago I succeeded (massive heart attack) but was resuscitated. I spent the next 10 years struggling with the inner conflict of relgion vs my natural self.

What you need to understand is that you do not know our back stories, you do not know our beliefs and most of all, you are not God. I will gladly answer to him and only on judgement day for my life. In the meantime I will live my life the way my heart and my own morality leads me.

The only regret I have is my lost youth spent wasted trying to satisfy a God who clearly did not care that I was gay and wanted him to change me.

Well she did help. She said the words 'My child, you are loved' to me as she picked me up. That stopped me from hurting myself any more and it really did change my life, but I tell you with 100% honesty that she did not do anything about my gayness.

I travelled to Medjugorje and witnessed many things. I put myself over the direct path of being able to be 'cured and
nothing happened.

There are mysteries in this life that the bible cannot explain. Just accept it. I learned to.

I have too. June 5, 2010 at 4:30 pm. In my kitchen of all places. I was at my sickest at that point. It was my birthday and I was unhappy because, not only was a very sick but no one had said happy birthday to me. A few moments after I thought that ... she said 'happy birthday'. I had never heard her before but I instantly knew her voice. I heard it in my soul, not with my ears. Her voice was music .. not words ... and yet I understood her.

And she has left me sick. No miracle cure which I've been praying my heart out for.

So when someone here says that they went to Medjugorje and heard Marys voice while they were deep in despair over their own suffering .. and they were left in suffering ... I FULLY believe it. That one instance of her saying 'happy birthday' to me has kept my head above water while I've been drowning in suffering. It was a huge gift from her. It wasn't a cure ... but it's kept me from drowning.

I feel more for you flyers My suffering did end when I learned to love and accept myself for the imperfect person I am.

Medjugorje - what a wonderful place it is. Love peace and holiness abound there. And strangely enough, I met a woman who had AIDS there. She perceived that I was Gay and we bonded instantly. We both shared so much pain with each other and experienced a lot of joy as well. In fact it was with her that I laughed for the first time in 5 years.

It's not nonsense Colbe. I have felt the presence of Eris in my heart and also in my pineal gland, therefore I know with certainty that she exists and is who she claims. My question more simply is, how can your creed be correct if it contradicts mine, which I know to be true due to the numinous experiences which Eris has given me?

I am not an expert on private revelation and neither are you. Stop judging the messengers. Accept the good from the messages. Medjugorje has been rejected by the bishops there, your big sign that a private revelation is false while you sing it's praises? I'll use Mark's term, "go figure?" I guess, do as I say not as I do.

You are blessed to go to Medjugorje, not everyone gets to go there. I think the Vatican is finally going to approve it.
