Not that I would expect you to know that Jesus told his disciples, but he told them that he would send them the Holy Spirit to remind them of his words in order for them to continue the gospel of the kingdom throughout the entire world.

What about you, filledcup? Are you an "Ascended Master" like the OP? Did you go through the same mystery school? What level initiate are you?

i know what you fear to know deetermined. otherwise u wouldve searched for it, and you wouldve found it. because it wasnt impossible given your resources. u have no idea how far behind the class u are. people are living the truth today and you are still stuck in dogma. unfreeze your mind and maybe it will be able to change.. as to grow means a requirement of change, unless uve decided to set a limit on ur growth. which is all your right to choose to do so.

Fear to know? I'm only curious as to what you have in common with the OP since you apparently signed up on ATS just to get in contact with him.

Others on here might have been interested to hear what you had to say, but if you don't want to share, that's fine.

You might want to check with a Moderator or someone else who might be able to tell you how many posts you have to make before you're able to send a U2U private message to Born of Sin. I'm not sure what that number is.

No, the church is what led you to the bible, not god. They led you to a book then tricked you into believing it was god. It's not, far from it. To think God is limited to one book is the height of ignorance.

Instead of growing, you choose to stay stuck in one spot where you feel unworthy and undeserving. That's not a healthy mindset, to be so self-depreciating as thinking you were born a sinner.

Don't you think Satan would be the one who would WANT you to feel lowly and unworthy only to give your soul to some guy who died millennia ago, not to be seen since? Hoping that he'll come back to fix everything for you while his "minions" destroy your home for their own gain?

What's with all of the "unworthy" and guilt talk?

Satan doesn't have that kind of control over me.

Jesus forgives all sins when you repent with a sincere heart, so what's there to feel unworthy about?

By the way, it's not about comprehending the Bible with the mind, but the heart through the power of the Holy Spirit, so it's not like I'm trying to take something dead and make it alive. I feel the Spirit when I read Jesus' words. Words don't come alive on their own.

Alright, then I guess we can all assume that you're a "6th Initiate Ascended Master" like the OP.

I'm just sharing my beliefs and backing it up with why and how.

Why don't you try and do the same?

you feel the Spirit? what does it feel like? have you seen the light? and if not.. why? and what's keeping you from claiming it right now? is it because u are undeserving? or do u deserve it?

Well, if you didn't feel unworthy you wouldn't have a need for Jesus dying. You believing Jesus was needed means you believe you were born a sinner, hence not being worthy of god's love.

It's good that you feel the spirit when you read Jesus' words, so do I, but you also take the rest of the bible as his word as well. It's not.

The rest of you can keep chasing your fallen stars if you want.

What's everyone's hangup with the term "original sin"?

Who cares? It's all the same. Everyone has sinned. Where it comes from doesn't even matter.

The key is to stop sinning in order to keep God close to you.

The hangup is teaching children who have never done anything wrong that they are sinners. If you think you are a sinner no matter what, and that having faith is all you need, you will not feel all that bad about sinning even more.

Believing we can not avoid sin leads to more sins being committed. Look at the world today for proof.

Personal experience ALWAYS trumps simple theories.

While I can't speak for others, I was led to the Bible by supernatural encounters with God.

IF you want truth, you WON"T find it in religion.

You WILL find it in direct encounters with God.

This post in wildtime's thread is one example of this.

Below are some others with similar experiences:

In the summer of 1974, when I was eight years old, I went into my bedroom after school one day to read my daily assignment in the Bible. I wanted to hurry up and finish reading the four chapters of the Gospel of John that I was to read that day, so I could get back out and play with my friends.

I lay down on the bed with my Bible in my hands. As soon as my head touched the pillow, however, the Bible, the bed, my room, and even my body disappeared! I had no warning.

All I knew that afternoon in 1974 was that suddenly I was flying through the heavenlies at an unbelievable speed. I passed many things in the first heaven, then zoomed through the second heaven, and landed outside of the biggest gate I had ever seen—or have ever seen since.

All I can say is that it was very wide, very tall and had no cut or blemish in it. This gate was made of one solid pearl, one immense glossy, glowing white pearl, and the edges were carved with a design. It was the biggest gate I had ever seen in my life. Its presence gave forth not an aura—but its own glow—its own life. I shook myself to see if I were dreaming. It had all happened so fast. But I decided it was real when I heard a voice speaking to me. A man said, "This is one of the gates." I turned around, and there stood Jesus Christ in all His glory!

Caught Up to Heaven

Ian Clayton, an ex-sorcerer also had a supernatural encounter:

At age 12, his growing awareness of God led him to the Bible and he started reading it from the beginning. Halfway through Deuteronomy he decided that it was full of rules and regulations and didn’t want anything to do with it. Just as he shut the Bible he heard a voice say, “Put your hand on top of the table and pick the table up.” Ian put his hand flat on the table top and it rose, sideways off the floor. “It was an amazing power rush,” Ian explained. “Suddenly, I walked in power.”

Excerpt from Shifting Shadows of Supernatural Power

Praying all night in the mosque, he asked God to help him. Suddenly he felt drops of oil falling on him and even smelled its fragrance, he says. He claims another time he heard an audible voice telling him to read a Bible—an abomination to a Muslim. “We would not touch a modern-day Bible,” he says. “This voice immediately put a desire in my heart. It is so vivid, so clear, so overwhelming. Still today, I could not forget that voice.”

Why Revival is Exploding Among Muslims

Steven Brooks in Alabama heard an audible voice speak while reading a Bible:

"At that time of the day, nobody was at the house. My family, my brothers plus my grandmother, they had all gone somewhere else, up the hill to do something. And I was spending time in one of the rooms of the house, alone, just reading my Bible, and after a while, I just laid out on the floor and was praying, and kind of reading the Bible, and I heard a voice speak to me, it sounded like a male voice, it was audible, and it said "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you."

Working With Angels

There are also a couple of people here on ATS who have had similar experiences:

Teaching an ego to reject itself is hard even when the ego is in pain and wanting to change and have clarity and understanding. To try to persuade someone who teaches the egos view without questioning itself is a waste of time but if you wanna bash arguments then do so. But I think you are only feeding the ego. You cannot in any way prove that you more and the literals will say they understand their bible and they do understand it in the way they have been taught it. While some who have experianced more understand what the words are trying to describe.

That's an absolute cop-out.

Everyone knows they can avoid sin if they really wanted to. It's like quitting any bad habit, you just have to really want to do it.

However, if you've been through anything traumatic as a child, like Wildtimes has, I can certainly understand how someone would develop insecurities. A church should absolutely not be laying heavy guilt trips on children, and if they are, Jesus will deal with them.

I am he having read of the Codices Arcanus

I think that's a computer game manual or some such.

No longer shall I allow the house of Rome to mock me and defile my name ...
It is title given to see me nameless...
The time of which trespassers...
In time shall I lead all my man from the hands of the trespassers and give to them the light of life.

So you have some gripe against Romans? What about House of Judah?
How can your name be defiled by those who mock a different name?
This sounds like some new War of the Sons of Light against the Sons of Darkness, is that what you are about? War?

How does that make you different from me?

I was taught how to read the Bible through the Holy Spirit, who did you use?
