Im wondering how the judge can be so bias! I also would like to know how he can be charged for some of the "lesser" crimes when he has never been arrested for breaking the laws? Really !0/20 life line? What the hell is that? If he is anything but found NOT GUILTY! What are us law abiding upstanding people going to do about it.

I'm hearing this Schaeffer guy going on about how this jury's decision cannot be based on emotion, but the entirety of Zimmerman's defence is dependent on his supposed emotional state the instant before he shot Trayvon. Sounds a bit biased to me.

Does anyone else think the prosecutor looks and sounds like Dr Phil?

Seriously WTF was that I just watched. The guy was all over the place. If those jurors have any sense they will realize he is full of it with half of his statements.

Even the commentator on channel 9 says TM deserved a better prosecutor.

Reasonable doubt. At this point I am doubting if the prosecutor even remembers what he was there for.

you know i think the state made a wonderful decision to let the bald head dude do the closing.

this guy is a sarcastic a@@hole and most people i know don't care for that.
and i bet a jury full of i think they are mostly older women, doesn't care for it either.

he reminds of some of the TM supporters here on this thread that try to use, sarcastic humor because they have no way else to prove their point.

I know that closing statements they can say things that aren't true, and are opinion, but I am pretty sure they can't lie about the testimony, right?

Did anyone notice the lie (at least I am pretty certain it was a lie) the prosecution told?

He's told a bunch .... but yes, Jeantel said that Martin confronted Zimmerman and said 'why are you following me'. You caught it correctly (according to my memory of all this).

Yeah that how I remember it too, with Jeantel saying that Martin confronted Zimmerman. It is like he is trying to trip up the jurors with his lies or he is just straight up lying trying to get some people back on his side that don't remember testimony from last week.

one i think but dont have a link for that but i rember from reading about the case when they picked the jury one of them was an african american woman

www.nytimes.com... edit i was wrong here is the demograpgics

The jurors, none of them black, include a Hispanic woman with eight children, an animal rescuer who once had a concealed-weapons permit, and a woman who said she had used Mr. Martin’s death as a cautionary example for her two adolescent children. Of the four alternates chosen for the case, two were men, and all were white. Nearly all of the jurors have children.

He's saying that the jury has to follow the rule of law ... not make a verdict on emotion but on the LAW.

Zimmermans emotional state when he pulled the trigger is a different matter all together.

I'm not sure how you can try to compare them

Those are two totally different things.

I know.. it's ridiculous.
They shouldn't be able to toss the charges in because the defense didn't know to argue against them.

I didn't watch all day, but did the prosecution try to bring in child abuse charges? If so did they make it in?

The irony would be that at 17 if Martin had lived and killed Zimmerman, he would have been tried as an adult.

WEll ... he has been. I don't know if someone can 'object' during closing or not.
But this guy has been telling some whoppers. I don't understand how he can
quote discredited testimony like that.
