So, the defence has proved what lots of people already thought, ie. George isn't a tough guy by any stretch of the imagination. The thing is, he doesn't have to be a competition-level athlete to THINK he's a tough guy. A little knowledge can sometimes be a dangerous thing. Ftr, I never, ever said that George was a better fighter than he's letting on, only that it was possible and it'd be helpful if we heard his trainer's opinion. Anyone who wants to claim differently should provide a link to my post proving it.

dude .. I can THINK I'm wonder woman and can fly ... but that doesn't mean that I can.
Even if Zimmerman thought he was a tough guy (which we don't know if that's what he thought or not) his thoughts wouldn't magically turn him into Chuck Norris. Ya' know?

hold on i'll go pull some more of your posts.
time and time again you kept on harping on the fact that he took mma lessons for 18 months 3 hrs a day and was a trained fighter.

do you deny that or do i have to go and pull the posts.

ETA: and as a matter of fact i'm sure you said a couple of times that due to his training you thought he was the one on top doing the hitting.

waiting for response.

or Neo from the matrix, or a Jedi from star wars.

this is real life. Thoughts don't equate to strength or ability.... and if you think you're a tough guy after a few workouts, you're mad.

Most "tough guy" mentallity type people do not carry firearms on their person. They tend to believe they can fight their way out of any situation.

I said, for all anybody here knows, he could have been a very accomplished student, NOT that he undoubtedly was. I concede some of my theory about the night's events needs to be revised, now I've had it confirmed beyond all doubt that he couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper bag. And, at the end of the day, being a poor fighter doesn't make him honest.

Or if GZ was drunk and had a case of "beer muscles". No sign whatsoever GZ was intoxicated.

but being a poor fighter, backs him and GOOD about TM being on top, and he was in fear for his life.

He hadn't "just done a few workouts," he'd been doing it around a year at least. However poor a fighter he was, if you think about it, it just emphasises how ineffective Trayvon's alleged attack must have been, if he had an unresisting obese man lying helpless beneath him. 3 minor injuries from what could have been as many as 30 different attacks to his head, show he got off really lightly.

"MARTIN DAD" - testimony ....

Asked what he said about the 911 tape. He says that he said 'I can't tell".
This is directly different than the two police officers who say he said 'NO".
Martins dad is claiming that he didn't say 'no' .... So he's saying the cops lied.
(The cops who are witness' for the prosecution)
He didn't ask to hear the tape a second time.
He says he now knows it's Martins voice ... after listening to it '20 Times'.

I'm not sure why the defense put him on.

let me re-phrase that.

a few workouts fighting. I was excluding his weight loss training which was the bulk of his training. even the Gym owner said his main reason for being there was to lose weight.

at the time GZ joined, he was fat (soft.)

It took him a while (From the Gym owners perspective) to even start to learn how to fight.

so me saying a few workouts is pretty accurate when accounting for the fighting aspect only.

PROSECUTION CROSS EXAMINATION - (Martins Father)
"It's hard to believe that he's dead". "He was my best friend" He was the one to ID the body.
Martins father is coming across well. I don't know why the defense put him on.
This makes no sense to me.

this line of questioning is strange, I wonder where they are heading with it.

My only guess is that the Defense wants the jury to heatr at least ONE person on the prosecution side to say that the screaming voice was not Trayvon...

it lends their side credibility....

Again, well done, Defense

I wonder why the defense put him on the stand when they already had two police officers, including the lead investigator, state in sworn testimony that this father said "NO' when asked if he recognized Martins voice. There doesn't seem to be a need to put him on.

Side note .. the father said it took 20 times until he thought it was Martins voice.
So I would think that he really would have said 'no' when asked the first time if it was Martins voice.
Because at that time, he didn't think it was.

Sorry but this guy is telling lies.

DEFENSE RECROSS ...

AHHHHH .. it goes back to Crump!
Martin father says that he never instructed Crump to say anything.
This goes to the question about the police 'cleaning up' the 911 tape ....
The defense is trying to get Crump ..... IMHO
