The biggest lie: That there is life after death.

I do see your point as im not even convinced yet there is life during life.

Good point.
What this is right here and right now is both 'non-existence' and 'existence' at the same time.
It never ends.

The biggest lie is that we are told (by many) that we need god.

That right there.

That and that we should worship one who behaves like a mafioso enforcer named Vitto: "..worship me and no other, or I'll break ya head."

The words 'worship no other' are pointing to reality. Is there something other than what is? The present moment is. The past and future are not. This is the present and what is happening is happening always presently. 'Worship no other' is saying be with what is. Man doesn't stay with what is - he is off somewhere, some when else - when in reality there is no 'else' - there is no 'other'.
If you go off elsewhere or else when you will suffer - that is what 'Worship no other' is, it is good advise. To be lost in thought and lost in time is what causes the suffering of man. How can he see or hear the glory if he is worshipping something else?

"What do you think is the greatest lie ever told to humanity?"

Greatest Lie: You are separate. Separate from other humans, separate from animals, separate from plants, separate from Earth, and separate from all of existence.

Truth: All of existence is One, fully interconnected and unified reality.

Peace.

Exactly right. We experience both life and death in this realm only. Life for some might last for more than 100 years, or death could come before an exit from the womb. Nobody said it's fair re: the length of our existence, but this is it folks. Make the best of what you have.

That you are special, even though you are one out of 7 billion with the same instincts to survive and populate the planet.

This right here and right now is nothing (non existence) and an appearing something (apparent existence) at the same time - always presently - timelessly being this.
No end and no beginning - timeless being.

The greatest lie ever told to humanity is that there is a heaven and hell.
The truth is that we all go to the same place after this lifetime whether or not you believe that is up to you!
As human beings we are all equal (until you attach something more to it!)- no one is better or worse - we all just are - nothing more and nothing less!

The greatest lie by far is that we were told we are not animals, we are something else, something special, and we have a soul. It's given us this false impression we are 'higher' than other lifeforms, something I call predator ego.

I was with you on the first sentence, but we are definately not all equal, never have been, never will be. Social heirarchies are natural human behavior.

One of the greatest lies is that we can actually know something with 100% certainty...

Then again, I am not 100% certain that this is the greatest lie...

The only thing we can do is stay in our little reality of the mind. Even if we 'silence' the mind of thoughts we'll still be seeing through human eyes, and human sub-conscious beliefs filtering everything.

We are equal in death. It has never been easier to reach out and touch the high man, and bring home low.

You really can't say that the statement "there is an afterlife" is a lie. I personally don't believe there is an afterlife, but I can't prove it to be a lie. It's just un-provable one way or the other.

I might go as far to say that believing in an afterlife is a delusion though.

I don't believe it is a delusion.

Sceptics tell us the belief arose out of people's fear of annihilation; that may be true to some extent.

But there is a logical basis to it, namely that we are alive now.

Therefore it's logical to conjecture that we may be alive again after this life is over.

Unless you maintain that life is a one-off blip on the flatline of nothingness...that it happens once only in the infinity of the multiverse.

In the absence of proof either way, both positions are tenable.

And neither is 'delusional'.

Because we are alive now by no means logically points to there being another life for us once our physical body ceases to function. That is a leap of faith, not logic...

So how will we ever get to the bottom of whats going on if the world we are really living in is inside our own heads.

We cannot know the greatest lie because it is still believed to be true. But the lie I personally find interesting is the idea that we all have minds where there is no such thing.

That's far to deep for me to understand. Would you mind expanding a little?

I am aware of your Socratic Irony. It would require a book to explain, and only a sentence for you to disregard it.
