the reports i have been reading say that one of the men was chanting "Allahu Akbar", its very much a chant that people would associate with a Muslim and radical Muslims have a habit of chanting this when they attack.

Yeah, it would be interesting if the victim is Muslim. Which would explain why they attacked him in broad daylight. Seems that many Muslims would have different political views that could blow up and cause strife.

The UK must get use to news like this. Don't be racist though, because obviously it was just co-incidental the attacker was muslim.

What's there to be racist about? The one bloke identified is African, hardly your stereotypical Muslim. Most Africans in the UK are Christian last I knew

Muslims ordinary people are not evil , ISLAM is evil in his core and all those who practicing Islam extremly (like sharia law ) are collecting evil from the religion itself. If they like sharia law why are they coming to Britain , beatiful country.

A interesting video although shocking.

Seems to me to show further that this is terrorism he talks about getting rid of our government

On my way home from work today, I got off at Woolwich Arsenal DLR Station and saw police everywhere. I saw someone I know, and they told me about what happened as they saw everything. 2 black men run over a white man wearing a "Help for Heroes" T-Shirt, and then proceeded to try to hack his head off with a machete. Apparently some women were trying to help the dying man on the floor and shield him from the attackers. There were chants of "Allahu Akbar", and the men were trying to get people to take pictures and videos, saying that they had "Had Enough" and spouting Islamist propaganda.

What happened is terrible, however if you want to be a pawn in the governments agenda for global domination, you must be aware of the risks involved becoming the face of oppression.

I must say though, even though I was there less than an hour after it happened, Transport for London got me home in no time!

Edit: I forgot to mention, apparently the victim was a soldier from the nearby Army Barracks.

It's ridiculous that many are afraid to discuss radical Islamic teachings kill Muslims and non Muslims alike who go against their teachings on Islam. You can longer sweep this under the rug and wish this would go away.

I didn't see you offer any alternative responses that could be made, so what response do YOU think the people of this country should give to this event?

I didn't offer an alternative because I don't have one - i've never professed to have all the answers.

I understand if people are angry and upset about this attack - that does not in any way shape or form mean that I support any sort of reprisal attacks against innocent, law abiding Muslims.

Yes, I do expect people to be angry. But again, what do you expect people to do? Please elaborate on anything we can do right now as citizens to respond to this other than hear about the story and feel sorrow for the victim and their family?

I'd expect people to show at least some sort of regard and consideration for the victim before posting sensationalist fears about reprisal attacks.
