Shooting at MIT (And continued events in Boston 18-19 April)

I'm quite impressed how they believe the suspects may have had overseas training.

They don't even know who these suspects are yet and they already know they've travelled overseas for training.

Sounds to me like students here on visas, did not one of them , I think the guy on the run is/ was attending a university there, some have already down loaded his facebook pages before they were locked, I heard.
The media wont get far spinning this for what ever reason. I heard a photo is out of him wearing a chee flag t shirt. Anyone seen that photo yet.

Even so I don't think the US officials involved are going to be putting that sort of information out just yet while they're still chasing one suspect, and the situation is still unresolved.

Birth certificates are public records, can be found online.

Thought it would be interesting to know if they were born in the USA or not.

The names of the suspects were disclosed on police scanner. Both were described as lighter skinned. The one who died in custody did have an Ethiopian surname, the one on the run is Indian-American.

The guy just hopped a fence now walking down Witamore , or Widmore? Couldn't really hear what street.

From the scanner. I think they just said suspect stepped into the woods when cruisers approached him

All commuter rail and subways suspended

They are having a press conference on Martial Law. They are shutting down the city as I type this.

It seems like they were caught in the act of planting bombs on the MIT campus. That kicked off a car chase into Watertown.


Has anyone heard anything about the 100 Talcott building where the motion lights went off? They had it surrounded at some point but I never heard any updates to it.
