If it was proven that it was a terrorist military presence on the ground then yeah, send in some of our best to handle the situation.

For just a few terrorist, whether home-grown or other then our folks can handle the situation from the FBI down to us lowly city police.

They have a SWAT team going to Langdon. They are going to check it out.

So yes, in this situation I would be ok with it. I know not everyone will agree and that's ok. That's whats great about ATS. I like to see other people's perspectives and points of view.

I Live here in Boston... I haven't talked to anyone yet that is upset about the lockdown.....we are PISSED and want this guy found so we can get back to business.

It's the Langdon scene where the girl texted her mother. the mother updated that the guy was actually outside but the police are going to take a look anyway. They are right to do so of course.

Look..if you listen to the scanner, you would know it's real. It's far to absurd to be scripted.

Someone said earlier the Chechens hates the Russians - no longer the case, not when it comes to the Chechen government anyway. The Chechen president is now in Putin's pocket but he's a bit of a dictator so the actual Chechen people hate him.

Russia and US are at loggerheads over an oil & gas pipeline running through Chechnya. A destabilized Chechnya means US have a better chance of controlling a larger amount of the oil and gas which Russia presently dominates.

Therefore what is happening now in Boston is directly benefiting the American oil and gas corporations.

Worth bearing in mind as we watch this play out and in the months to come.

Chechnyan independence would benefit the US greatly.

Whole thing reeks, we are being fooled. My guess is that isreal/mossad is behind all of this. With so many videos and pictures they were caught that would explain why Police Chief Yohanan Danino announced that his officers had flown to Boston to “meet with Federal Bureau of Investigation agents and other authorities” to participate in the investigation of the Boston bombing. Why would a foreign government do this, yet alone why would the us investigators allow this? This along with the Saudi that was deported needs to be addressed.

There is a major city shut down and 9000 service people searching for this guy. They can't find him so why not brig in the experts?

HRT are the experts and my understanding is that to bring in 1st-SFOD-D or DEVGRU would require the president invoking the war powers resolution and a vote in Congress. HRT trains with DEVGRU and 1st-SFOD-D as well as other international special operations units. You don’t need to send the these military units in to hunt down one guy

That is a lot for one guy that SWAT could probably deal with.

They were boxers and champion wrestlers, I'm sure they had some outside training somewhere....

Looks like the texting/hostage situation (as heard through the police scanner) is over or was a false alarm. I thought it was it going down when they said "...he's in the window gotta take him out now..."

So what happens if he's not in the remaining 30% of the search zone?

I'm also getting word from reddit about the old guy, that he was cleared and freed. Anyone hear something similar, through the scanner?
