 How do they do the background checks? What do you think happens with the information collected in a background check? Can't you see that background checks are just a form of backdoor registration?

Hold on a minute! There is nothing in the bill about gun registration. Background checks (universal or other) do NOT equate to gun registration. Show me where it's written that there will be a registry of guns owned by an individual. The bill doesn't even require a background check for private sales, unless the seller paid to advertise it or used a website (i.e. Armslist.com, gunauction.com, etc.).

You are quite right, of course, riffraff, I don't know whether or not the lady in question owns the Glock of which you speak. Perhaps she will enlighten us.
And I don't know a Glock from a Gatling gun. And I'm very pleased to admit it. I go out of my house every day without having to consider whether someone might shoot me ...it would never cross my mind.
Don't get me wrong, I'm certainly not anti American, it's just your obsession with firearms. You all seem very knowledgeable about guns, and the ones who seem to know the most are the most vitriolic towards my views,
Worrying, this tells me something about their temperament, and suitability for gun ownership.

Thank you, riffraff, you've just demonstrated my point about vitriol admirably....
My sense of humour is apparently wasted on an American audience, too.
Have a good day.

And you've come to this conclusion how? Since we already have background checks then, by your logic, we already have gun registration...right? Please educate me with facts about this theory of yours, I do enjoy fiction.
