Well Arya ain't dead or doesn't die.

They really leave no doubt.

I posted this earlier:

Episode 8 synopsis, No One, is out:

Tyrion finds cause for concern. Cersei prepares for the worst. Sansa takes control. Arya is not alone.

Actually, my theory is that Arya IS alone. I think the waif is actually her Fight Club alter ego. Makes sense. Why else would everyone in the street not help her? I think the waif is all in Arya's head. Otherwise, she'd be dead after such an attack, or at the very least, unable to walk.

One interesting theory is that Arya will be taking the Stoneheart roll by wearing her face and killing Walder Frey. Maisie Williams kind of hinted at it by saying that Arya appeared in more of the trailers than you think because you did not recognize her.

Could still happen in tandem with the Fight Club theory. I think it (the waif persona) represents the conflict of her actual self, with this new, faceless Arya. Could be wrong, but I also had this theory she didn't exist, after Jaken agreed for her to kill Arya. Didn't align with the teaching of the temple. But, if instead, that took place in Arya's head.... This past episode just clenched it for me.

Cool to see the Hound again. Certainly bodes well for the Hound vs. Mountain eventual matchup. Especially since the short-lived mentor was a Septim.

Can't wait to see the Brienne and Jamie reunion play out.

How about that little Bear girl huh? Makes Arya look like a wimp!

Who else wants to see grandma Tyrell finally skewer the Sparrow?

In my opinion that is way too transcendental for Martin. From the novel it seems like they are two distinct persons. Why would Jaqen tell Arya to kill herself and not make her suffer?

Why would he encourage personal revenge? He wouldn't.
So, I think that scene was all in Arya's head.

I agree, but not too transcendental for the show-runners.....

Because she's also the waif, hehe....

He was not encouraging revenge, he was discouraging it. Arya failed the Faceless Men and needed to be killed. He wanted it done quickly and without suffering.

Maybe. Guess we'll find out. If I'm wrong, then she has one HELL of a constitution to take that kind of multiple stabbing, jump into the river, swim under, climb out, and then walk thru town....

Well, she was in training to be a FM. But that bleeder the Waif gave her was bad. She needs a Maester or a healer or something.

I wonder how bad Sansa is going to betray Jon.

Shes' already keeping stuff from him,

She went behind his back and called for reinforcements.,

My guess is to her uncle that we saw in the opening with Jamie.

I think it is Littlefinger since the Vale army is at Moat Cailin.

After what she said to him ?

How quickly she changes her tune. When she wants something.

Guess we will find out soon.

It would not surprise me. She has the upper hand in a way because he needs her to fulfill his plans.

I think Sansa was asking for help from either Dickfinger or Robin.

What do you guys think are the odds that the Waif is Freys lost daughter, and that Arya might take her face back to Westeros

Just a theory

No to the Waif being a Frey, yes to Arya taking her face. It plays into what Maisie Williams said about the Season 6 trailer.

Interesting premise re Ayra, but I think No One being no longer alone refers her to stumbling across the Iron born who are at the docks.

She is in Braavos, they are in Volantis.

I thought the sailor in the episode she buys passage from said he is leaving to avoid them? Maybe he meant by not going to Volantis

I don't remember him saying that. Also Volantis is on the opposite side of the continent from Braavos so unless he was looping all the way around Essos he would not run into them.

Just fast forwarded to that part, I misheard.
He said "The iron men are in slavers bay, Im not going anywhere near them f...."

I think Sansa will take the lead in this battle for WF and she has messaged her cousin directly to get Knights of the Vales help without LF.
