My two biggest complaints were that Arya recovered too quickly and that the Tyrion joke scene was awful, but I actually thought it was significantly better than the last two.

From now on, all I care about is the hound.

The joke scene shows they have no book to utilize rich dialogue, I have noticed this before this season.
The dialogue is pretty ordinary this year.

Aryas arc has become nothing but lazy/cinematic writing. Period.

It does seem that without GRRM's dialogue and depth, they're losing their touch.

Yup, pretty mundane. Arya gets a bleeder and then recovers quick enough to go on to the Essos' Ninja Challenge championship.

What I am really bummed about is it looks like the Clegane Bowl is not going to happen.

Yep, exactly why we had the theories we did. And that waif looked more like a Terminator while running, LOL.

Well, at least that storyline is done, and we can get down to her going on her vengeance spree....FINALLY.....


Meanwhile, the Hound is our new hero. He's been so fun to watch. Can't wait to see more of him, but yeah, it looks like Cleganebowl isn't going to happen, at least anytime soon.

I LOVED the Cersei/Frankenmountain scene though. I choose violence. The mountain just standing there with an axe in him...just priceless. About damn time. Disappointed she didn't make more of a scene in the throneroom though. She should have put her kid on her knee and spanked him.

Dany rides in on a dragon. Hell of an entrance. A bit earlier timing would have been better. Why let the dragon fly off? Um...get back on him and toast some ships!

Not many people left in the series, just Cersei and Walder Frey from what I recall since she took The Hound off.

Fair enough point. Most are already dead.

Would be funny if Ramsay is assassinated by Arya while Jon and his army are outside the gates of Winterfel.

Or Melisandre can do that little shadow demon trick again. Why hasn't Sir Davos suggested that one? Worked for Stannis.

I think Davos, in the next episode, finds were they burnt Shireen so the Red Witch may not be on his friends list. There is a leaked plot for the last two episodes going around, I did not read it but it is implied from the headline that someone major dies in the battle next week.

We also have a few deaths left from book 5 which are going to happen in episode 10.

Kevan Lanister and Maester Pycelle who get killed and Tommen is still alive at that point.

Can't remember who Kevan is...so no mourning there. Same with Pycelle, no tears there.

I think Cersei should just spank Tommen in the throne room. (she can spank me too, but that's different).... (I have kind of a thing for evil queens for some reason).

Kevan is Tywin's brother and her uncle. He was the person barring Cersei from approaching Tommen in the last episode.

I wasn't sure they would pursue the killing of old fart Maester and Kevan by Varys as tv isn't pursuing the Prince Aegon storyline , but they had him go on a secret mission last night, can he arrive at Kings landing in 2 episodes

Their deaths are more to disrupt the Lannister long term plans so I am pretty certain they are done by the end of the season.

I wonder what is gonna happen when Arya runs in to the Hound again.
