I have a feeling the new Iron Born king is going to get killed by Yara and her men. (though honestly, I wish the show would have simply opted out of covering this locale, as at least as of now, there is really ZERO impact from them on the rest of the plot). I assume they are setting it up for something down the road, like their ships bringing her over....but man...

Yep, Littlefinger seems to have stepped in it this time. Usually, I've got a good bead on his plans, but I'm at a loss, other than damage control right now.

The Tarlys seem to be an equally distracting plotline coming up, that does nothing but eat up screen time. Oh well.

At least next week seems somewhat promising, but since the following episode synopsis basically reveals the High Sparrow is still alive, I'm less excited. I want to see the dead mountain squish HIS head like a grape. (and Margeryie back in all her finery). Of course, I'm also one of the few rooting for Cersei....so can't wait to see her get some revenge on that fanatic.

Still trying to figure out where Bran fits into all of it.

daenarys is quite a character. its obvious that the writers have heavy intentions with her. snow and tyrion, too

3 heads of the dragon. At least that's my guess. All 3 being Targaryens. Dany is confirmed. Jon is all but confirmed....and I think eventually, we'll learn that Tyrion is really the mad king's son.

That would run counter to the books where Victarion has a crucial role in The Winds of Winter.

Apparently his role is to just watch his friends and other people die.

If watching is his only power Bran has been a waste of time.

Haven't read any of the released chapters of it...as I'd rather just read it when he's done with it.

You don't need to read any of the released chapters, his plan was laid out in Book 5 and was to manifest in Book 6, along with his special gift to Dany.

I really need to reread the most recent book, hehe. I first read it back when the show was in season 1!

So my recall is a bit spotty there....

I may reread parts of it once The Winds of Winter finally arrives.

Actually Bran can manipulate time.

"So Bran does something remarkable – he wargs into Hodor’s body and takes control of his present form while he’s still in the past, watching young Wyllis in the Winterfell courtyard. But time travel is dangerous and magic is dangerous and this unstable concoction creates tragedy. As Meera repeatedly shouts “Hold the door” in the present, young Wyllis hears it too, a voice calling out to him from beyond his own time."
www.slashfilm.com...

From what I've been reading, it's hinted that Bran may actually have been manipulating everything unknowingly.

Sorry

I've been reading for a while because there were a few things that I didn't quite understand. I haven't read the books but always read the reviews & story breakdowns the next day.
I won't say another word.

If bran can time travel that opens up a whole can of worms.

like Why don't get save his father.

Why don't he go back and save his legs so he can walk.

The possibilities are endless.

Wow! interesting concept, yes he technically can manipulate time, he semi possessed him for all those years when you think about it . Odd and an interesting discussion on Quantum possibilities that could go on for ages

Ignore Neo, you never sit silent in this thread, it is a spoiler allowed discussion.

Neo don't swear at Jacy please. Leave that anger of yours at the castle gates, and pick it up when you leave the keep.

Yeah well I could explain all that too, but now I'm not gonna.

zazz...Thank you. Seriously. Do I not look like someone who has a vested interest in this story? If only I knew where my dragons were right now....sheesh...

Haha, it's all good...although I did feel bad reading that.

She's my favourite character for so many reasons. From where she started, under the thumb of her brother...to marrying a savage...being smart enough to know how to make it a "love" relationship...then eating the horse's heart.

Walking into the flames of her husband's funeral pyre...emerging unscathed with 3 dragons. Releasing slaves, crucifying the slave-masters...being strong and powerful yet still having empathy/sympathy.
Compared to Cersei, she is a saint, lol.

So yeah, I'm definitely on 'Team Dany'.

Ugh, watching blind Arya was heart-wrenching. I find her story somewhat confusing so I read some of the background info on. So far I can't imagine how she's going to get back with her family...or even if she will.

Brienne is another one I like. I think the bearded Wildling dude likes her, lol. (I loved the scene where he hugged Jon Snow, after he'd come back to life.)

I think I'm just a sucker for scenes where people who are supposed to be enemies, become friends.
