Was so glad they didn't have Sansa show up AFTER Jon left. That reunion was something we all needed to see, something GOOD happen to the Starks. I
kept wondering, what would motivate Jon now...then of course, enter Ramsay with Rickon.... At least now there is a realistic reason for him going to
Winterfel. So, you have 2000 Wyldlings vs. his 5000...are you counting the Giants? Because....you know.... Betting he could get some of the houses in
the North behind him though.
I know I'm in the minority, but I've been rooting for Cersei for some time. I seriously can't wait until she and Jaime put the Sparrow in the grave.
As bad as she is, his endless prattling about making everyone into beggars just makes me want to squish his head like a grape.
I'm also glad that Marjoree's "change of faith" is an act.
Did I miss what the slavers get for ending slavery within 7 years? I think I missed Tyrion's bargaining chip.
Yay, the Iron Isles. A dead end storyline for nothing. Why is the show even covering this? Do they play ANY role at all in the events to come? Would
have been time better spent on Arya, or dare I say, even Bran.
Ok, I have to disagree with most here. I thought the ending scene with Dany was pretty awesome. (and not just because we missed seeing her naked...and
so did Jorah, lol). I actually was thinking she'd take control with Drogon showing up, but then, once I saw the fire braziers in the scene, I kind of
guessed where they were going with it. The nudity was of course, to make sense, as her clothes NOT burning off simply wouldn't have been consistent.
Since we've previously seen other Dothraki respond in awe at the whole unburnt thing, it makes sense we'd see this again. I imagine she can make
things pretty rough with the slavers when she returns to the cities...though she's probably in a good position to head to Westeros soon.
My guesses are:
Cersei and company purge the Sparrow. Marjoree is back, Tomlin seen as a stronger King, and Cersei is put on the HIgh Council.
Jon retakes the North and is recognized as a Stark. Theon's relatives end up killing each other, and he takes the Iron Isles (reluctantly). He mends
things with Jon, and aids him in the North.
Dany returns to her city, retakes the other cities, and sees the wisdom in Tyrion's actions in her absence. She creates a fleet, trains her dragons,
and eventually sails to Westeros along with Tyrion. Messande rules in her absence.
Bran's flashbacks fill in the gaps, reveal Jon's birthright (and Tyrion's), and the threat of the White Walkers.
With Jon in the North, Dany in the South, and Tyrion with her, they eventually all face the threat when the White Walkers army breaches the Wall. The
Song (battle) of Fire (dragons) and Ice (white walkers) concludes.
