The first night king during the first long night was a Targaryen. Who then took the whites north and created the kingdom of every winter. Or whatever
it's called.
He eventually went mad and started the second long night. (Night King in cave paintings.)
By then the Starks got the Children of the Forrest blood in them and gain the warg abilities.
15th or whatever it was Lord Commander Stark (possibly called Jon Snow aka the wildlings evil name) becomes the second Nights King. With the promise
of an heir when his had enough immortality. Or when he knows his gonna break.
Now theres a Targaryen who has high amounts of kings blood who is also a Stark, and bears the same name Jon Snow.
But then I think the prince that was promised is Bran, as Jon was born a king.

Ok after reading the new book and theories on you tube I'm now 90% convinced:
The prophecies of the long nights originated from the history of the Children of the Forrest (COTF), then it became The Others history, then a
eventually a human prophecy.
Yet the Azor Ahai prophecy has already occurred!!
I believe this is the 1st long night.
Azor Ahai is the COTF character Leaf.
Nissan Nissa is the dragon glass knife used on human captives that were sacrificed.
Lightbringer is the Night King. (Or The Others as a whole but I think just the king).
It's been confirmed that fire and ice are the same.
It's been confirmed that ice can burn.
'Thereafter Lightbringer was never cold to the touch, but warm as Nissa Nissa had been warm. In battle the blade burned fiery hot.'
Trade hot for cold due to the story being changed over the thousands of years before it was recorded in words. When the Others come and stand near you
it feels like your burning within from the cold.
I also think he is the one controlling the visions in the fire.
Possible end game for the others, destruction of all man to protect the weir wood net. This is the humans 3rd strike. Now where screwed.... for
now.
Watch the knight king creation scene with the above in mind and G R R Martin's opinion that you dont trust prophesy to be what is says.
Coomba98
....
Edit.
This does not negate my previous theory.
I'm my opinion, within the many families of the first man that came to Westeros was a family called Targaryens. Who at some point most likely the one
called Brandon Targaryen, who build Winterfell.
Then the first long night occurred due to humans cutting down the weir wood trees.
During this long night Brandon Targaryen and co became The Starks. Brandon was captured and turned into the first Lightbringer. Compliant at first. He
then helped build the wall as part of the agreement was they have the North of the Wall.
2k years later the Andals came and started cutting down the weir wood trees.... 2nd long night occurs which is where the Stark bastard becomes the
Night King. Who was called Jon Snow!!
Mic drop!!
I had the epiphany from this and its previous clip to the Ted Williams books.

OK place your predictions. Thanks Coomba for kicking off.
Sansa will win the 'game of thrones'
Tyrion will betray Aunt-who-shags-her-nephew and side with Sansa or Cersei.
Nisa Nisa is Danerys, she needs to remember 'who she is' which is she is from a fire star. She is the red sword that the Azor Asai raises, She turns
into fire, kills the Night King and burns the heck out of all the white walkers.
Dragons and White walkers will cease to exist. The magic from before the Doom of Valyria that gave the Targaryens their power will be broken,
Natural order is restored.
Melisandre will go out with a bang after she and Theon show up as reinforcements during either winter fell or Kings landing battles.
Gendry might be king as he is Roberts son...I think GRRM wants to re-establish natural order in Westeros not magical beings ruling as Kings and
Queens
Jon-I cheat on my wilding wife in real life-Snow is Azor Asai the prince that was promised. Outside chance he becomes a new Night King.
Ayra will die, or will she?? faceless lil lady!
Jamie will strangle Cersi the Slut.
Tyrion will be a Targaryen, 3rd head of the Dragon.
The final battle might be at Winterfell as there is the prediction a dragon rises from under Winterfell, that's Danerys maybe after she becomes all
Nisa Nisa.
Wish list:
Cleganebowl happens and the Hound ends up with his his pick of any lady in the kingdom.
They go back to on location in Dubrovnik to film Kings landing and not Spain.
Han Solo didn't really die.
All these characters are actually in the Avengers verse and end up dying because Thanos wills it so.
Kill them all Thanos, let the be peace in Westeros without these fools.

Bah, how can you believe all these conspiracy theories!!!
Johnnyboy of house Tarincestygan will die (sorry ladies) for real this time but not before dear old hag with a blood necklace dies at the hands of
Varys for reasons I don't yet know.
Dragons and zombies will kill the rest and that's how TWD starts.
I'm my opinion, within the many families of the first man that came to Westeros was a family called Targaryens. Who at some point most likely the one
called Brandon Targaryen, who build Winterfell.
King Aegon I Targaryen, known as Aegon the Conqueror and Aegon the Dragon, was the founder and first king of the Targaryen in Westeros.
He was a sister shagger also, two of them actually.
The iron throne was forged by him.
As was Dragonstone.
Bran the builder was one of the ancient First men, a hero of an ancient age, pre the Andals invasion. The first men came from Essos not Valyria and
were thousands of years before a Targaryen came anywhere near Westeros.
Bran raised the Wall and built the stronghold of Winterfell with the magical help of the Children, not the magic of Valarya.
He established House Stark and reiged as the first King in the North.
He lived well before the Targaryens showed up and is fabled to be the son/grandson of Garth the Greenhand.
Garth's children Rose of Red Lake (skin changer) and Brandon the Bloody Blade are also possibly Bran the Builders parents.
Modern Bran's ability to Warg and the power of Green Seers comes for the Children of the Forrest's old Gods or Garth the Greenhand, not the
Dragonriders. Garth the Greenhand may have been a fertility God, he seemed to have been a father of a bazillion famous people and taught agriculture.
His children seemed to be almost demi god like / heroes. So if Bran was his or his grandchild, his magic came from a God.
There are other gods that had children before returning to the stars, the Godly bloodline that ruled the Empire of the Dawn is another example of
hero/demi gods creating great houses.
Maybe this is all about the old gods fighting. Fire, Mather Nature, Light, Man, Water. Or the Old Gods children fighting.
BUT there is a theory he is Bran Stark who Worgs through time to him. I have not read that theory yet.

I wonder if we'll see Sansa end up with Baratheons bastard ruling the rubble, and gee has the blacksmith grown!
Ayra looks look she's running from death and she says I've seen death as it's showing Jorah and Vyseris ... first characters to go. Poor Jorah the
Cuckold, he survived turning to stone only to get turned to ice.
I am really hoping they don't go for a weird ending just to play to the formula... it seems kind of obvious at this stage and would be a
disappointment.
