They would need spare Valerian steel : check! (tarly sword)

They would need spare dragon glass : check! (Just mined "all we will ever need"

A knowledgeable blacksmith : check! (Gendry, bonus points he has kings blood)

Dragon flame : check! (Drogon)

Sounds awesome! I am on board!but then you went and said arrows...
I'm talking about lightbringer man! Get with times here!

I'm with Spazzy, I don't think Lightbringer is an actual sword but instead a metaphor.

I think that's why they can't reproduce valerian steel.

No dragons.

Dragon's breath is what the need to make it.

I was just spit balling..

To be honest I don't think we will get any thing more than the Prince that was promised in the show, they never went into lightbringer at all have they? I vaguely remember one off handed reference to azor ahai . I think it was mellesandre.

I think in the show jon is the Prince that was promised to deliver them from the long night and Jon's martyrdom to save the realms of men will be the bitter sweet ending..

The definitely mentioned Azor Ahai many times and on both continents. Both Jon and Dany have been hinted at to be this person.

I do think that is possible since he died already and was pulled back to the living, he would sacrifice himself, as he as shown himself capable of doing when he stayed behind on the ice field, and Dany will rule and break the wheel.

Even if Jon does die.

There are two that can bring him back.

The lord of light preist and preistess.

That one guy was brought back 6 times.

Yes I said I vaguely remember them off handedly mentioning AA. Could you point me to the scene where they mention AA creating Lightbringer? I'm wracking my brain I don't remember it..

I think the show writers threw in the off handed AA Easter egg, for the book readers, but for mainstream show watchers they have heavily promoted the Prince that was promised theme (it probably tested better).most show watchers wouldn't know anything about the lightbringer tale Or AA unless they did extracurricular reading on the internet or YouTube videos.(me included)So for them to go that route now on the show with only one season left would really seem awkward..

Think about it. Who is a prince that has had his hand and fingers in almost all the conflicts and resolutions and ironically is the one with the smallest stature?

Thoris Is dead, mauled by a cranky old bear.

Jon was brought back for a reason,by the Lord of light, for a reason.

The Lord of lights avatar the Prince that was promised will end the long night?

Then there is no more reason for the Lord of light to bring him back..

That scene with Arya and the Hound.

Far wage for fair work or something to the effect.

They do all mention that don't they! Even Jon, when acquiring longclaw, mentions how it has a mind of its own.

Maybe Nissa Nissa is a metaphor to tempering the blades literally in dragons. IIRC she was the original mother of dragons and dragons were also plentiful in Valyria.

Ok..I think I got it..

Who is Varys ??

He had his hand in everything all the way back to helping Danny and her brother escape Robert's wrath as children to selling Danny to drogo. He also must have royal blood or his bits would not have been useful to the sorcerer of the dark arts.

That was book only.

I'm pretty sure they said 'Azor Ahai, the Prince Who was Promised' to help make it clear on more than one occasion.

What do you disagree with,

I said they mentioned AA in the show (as an Easter egg/nod to book readers)as the Prince that was promised.

I said they never got into AA's backstory, nothing about nissa nissa on the show, just a namedrop of AA being the PtwP.

I said they never mentioned the tale of lightbringer in the show.

So what exactly do you disagree with?

Or are do you just have sand in your apron? don't worry nothing a nap and a trip to the dry cleaner won't fix bro.

Ghost didn't die as I thought.

The last time they showed him was guarding Jons dead body.

Yes, Ghost is still among the living.

Re Cersei's baby. There won't be a baby. She will either die before she can give birth, or it will be stillborn.

Get it? Still-Born. Storm-Born. (That means absolutely nothing, I just said it to take a stab at complicating things).

Cheers!

(Amazon still hasn't shipped my books. There must be a rush on them, or something.)
