He's been the same character but all over the map. His is an arc that I'm truly clueless of. If he kills Euron, then what was the point of having Euron?

I think if you looked at the long term there is a definitive story arc.

He starts out displaced and never feels like he truly fits in. So he acted pompous and arrogant often mocking others to over compensate.

Then he breaks bad, because he has lost all his grounding,Ned, rob , and John . His moral compass lost its way.

Then he gets broke down, stripped of all pride and selfishness.he also made atonement for his sins during this time..

Then he rescues sansa taking a literal leap off faith, this moment is when he was born a new man.And marks the first time in life he chose to do the right thing .

He then goes on to seek forgiveness, humbly.


After receiving it he sets off to forge a new path..His own path ..one that's purpose is not self centered.

I think that's a pretty strong arc . In a way, Ramsey did him a favor..kind of..

yes and Euron is THE Big Bad in the end of the books from what I have read in released chapters from WoW.
