I guess we will have to wait and see. The new pope I guess could lead a return to more conservative Christian values, or go with that which many on here believe ie the whole Lucifer thing. I really think Islam being imposed on the west is unlikely, it would be the quickest road to ruin. The whole NWO thing is supposed to end the wars not create more, but like I said at the top cooperation already happens. It is just the masses led by radicals that continue the hatred. There are too many factors at play to predict the outcome, many great plans have been laid to waste. China is a huge obvious wild card in any great western plan.

It's a possibility, but I really don't see it in Palin, Palin was nothing more than a gamble for votes, since it failed they are already throwing her back under the bus. If she was part of the in crowd they would do more to keep her relevant.

If I had to guess I'd say Michelle Bachmann could be a likely candidate. I've always viewed her as a professional distraction. When they want peoples attention diverted they send out Bachmann to make some over the top statement that occupies the headlines for a while. I have a hard time believing any state could constantly elect her, but she just doesn't go away. She is useful for presidential elections as well, she keeps attention off of the real candidates during primaries.

I can see the creeping reach of islam already in the UK. It happens bit by bit, incrementalism, acclimatisation etc. And as with the metaphoric boiling frog when the sheep wake up if they do at all, it'll be too late. Unfortunately it seems to me that at the moment here in the UK it's mostly the racists that are awake to it, with everyone else just grumbling their dislike for EU immigration. When the current generation of infants have finished their 'Free' schooling in the UK they will just be worker drones for the corporations and will be unable to think critically about any political, religious, financial or environmental issues.

So it seems that there was some sort of skirmish between Syrian Army and the Pro Asaad shabaiya at an army base in Damascus earlier today.

This could be the source of the 'Assad is dead rumours ' doing the rounds today.

At present, Syria government TV is off the air for night, and the FSA are not contributing to the story. Don't expect confirmation or denial for another few hours, its way past midnight in Damascus, so I wouldn't expect to hear anything further for another few hours or so.

Meanwhile, earlier today, a group of leading anti assad alawites meeing in Qatar today issued a statement denouncing tyranny and basically throwing him under the bus. These people are mostly exiled anti Assad Alawites, who have been arrested over the years due to their open opposition to Assad, but still it shows that even within his own sect he cannot rely on total support.

Also Arab league today officially voted to award the Syrian seat on the council to the opposition.

I've been skyping with friends in Beirut, Dohar, Paris and Omann for the last few hours. Facts are hard to come by. I don't have any direct contacts on the ground in Syria, but the border with Lebannon, Turkey and now Jordan is falling into the hands of various rebel factions so if its true, look for these places as sources, (in other words not Alaska).

If he has been replaced by Iranians, as a part of a coup, it will take a few hours to ensure that the military are onside before they will risk making an announcement.

In my opinion, an Iranian sponsored Coup replacing Asaad with another (probably military) figure head, makes sense to take advantage of the disarray among the various rebel groups. Especially since it looks like CIA and NATA are mobilising to get their own influence in their among the rebels by taking control of the Chemical arsenals ahead of Jihadist AQ groups.

Look to Qatar to lead the way officially with weapons and arms to rebel groups paid for by the CIA.

OK, maybe it wasn't actually her account, it came up in my twitter feed under #asaad with a username similar to hers, and an profile pic of her against a US flag, looking at her account now, looks like a different profile Icon.

Apologies, my twitter and email feeds have been hopping mad over the last few hours. Suffice to say I wasn't trying to use this as evidence that the rumours are true.

Now or later it just means the Bortherhood will move on to Saudi Arabia and once they fall the Brotherhood (another name for Al-Qaeda in my opinion) will control the middle east with Obama's backing and blessings.

So, Islam is creeping up and OMG, it'll, be too late. this Pope is hopefully the last. That almost gets rid of the two main contenders of religious evil, now that you have warned us. Who, or what other religious sects would you like to see disappear then, some or all of them?
