What you will find if you look closer is that no where in society anywhere on this planet at any time in known human history can you find more than 12 humans that agree on anything. Conspiracies abound in humanity. I bet everyone who reads this is currently involved in a conspiracy. A Epidemic can come by and decimate the world population. Today we would be more prone to an epidemic due to people trying to be clean all of the time. (washing hands, etc.) Staying away from germs doesn't help your immune system, it does the opposite. Living as sterile as possible can make you far more likely to catch a world wide virus.

Or maybe even aliens can swoop down and smash our planet and be on their way.

We're all looking at a ticking time bomb, it'll blow eventually, and its outcome will not be known until the damage is done.

I saw nothing that even suggested that.

I believe her motivations had absolutely nothing to do with any particular person.

I believe what motivated her to write this thread was concern and love for the fate of mankind.
