This thread was made because the OP doesn't like Obama.

Threads like this get made simply because people don't like the incumbent president. The scare mongering that comes with it is just designed to try and tweak peoples emotions.

I don't believe that's entirely accurate...

the president isn't mentioned in the thread title, and there's no diatribe, or drawn out bitch-fest by the thread creator about how obama is a so and so, and is trying to destroy the world with his evil communist, kenyan friends from the mothership in orbit....

it looks to me like the creator was simply trying to share some information they felt was worth sharing here, because it is a conspiracy theory, and this is a conspiracy theory site...

I followed ATS for many years before finally deciding to say something. I guess it's the desperation of our situation. The "shills" are effective in other places where the lemmings gather, but I don't think they have any impact here other than wasting time and space. Most people on ATS are the type who ask why should I accept the "official" explanation when it obviously makes no sense? Everyone knew Bush was a globalist, and I think the libs actually expected Obama was going to be an anti-war president who would concentrate on the US economy, not totally destroy it. Not much real difference between any of the recent presidents in my opinion. The shills, liberals, or whatever you want to call them continually fail to see the truth no matter how it's presented. But clearly the number of people that are waking up and saying something is way wrong is increasing. The question is will enough people figure it out before it's too late?

You know there all the same in the long run, its just you have the ones who tell you if you disagree with me you must be all these things I hate and then you have the ones that just lie and say what ever comes to mind in order to move on.

I doubt people are still waking up, if they don't see what is happening and what will eventually come to there door steps then they like the way it is or they won't admit it to themselves. admitting what is about to happen is what people need to do now, the rest is all water under the bridge.

My opinion, as I have said before, there is no one left to fix whats coming, this has been in the works for 75+ years.............bring the U.S. into the folds of socialism/communism. As insane as doing the same thing over and over again is humans will never get it, we want what we want and America is next............sadly.

Threads like this appear purely out of political spite. They simply name drop the person in the White House, or the running presidential candidate etc.

That's my observation, based on being around this kind of thing online since '96, before ATS existed and then on here, during which I've been told that everyone is going to be enslaved/turfed over on a regular basis, with various parties being blamed - none of which has actually happened.

Of course, I may be wrong in the long term, but for the past 17 years its not happened.

I wish it was just hype but I am of the mind that humans can only run there mouth for so long and someone makes a move or a mistake. This financial collapse didn't happen overnight, and it didn't happen under one president. The problem is that Clinton, Bush, and Obama have all made the situation worse. It started with the elimination of Glass-Steagall, and trade deficits with China. This isn't paranoia, or partisan politics, it is real! The UK is broke, the EU is broke, Japan is broke, and the USA is broke. Obama and his cronies keep telling us we are in a recovery, yet GDP grew by .1% in the 4th quarter of 2012. This is normally the strongest part of the year. Now we are getting ready for a new Internet tax, higher gas prices, and more corporate cut backs. Zero percent on your savings, and being forced into an unstable stock market does not equal a recovery. The average family income has dropped $4,000 since 2008. We all need to look past partisan politics and look at the facts. The facts are that the entire world is in big trouble. The coming crash will be far bigger than the last one, because we doubled or quadrupled down on the same policies that got us into this mess. Get past the name calling, and the politics, and look at what is really happening!

What does your research tell you about the time period in the US between the roaring 20's and the great depression/war? People were upbeat about the economy in the 20's and then suddenly they weren't anymore. Many were so filled with high hopes and promises that they didn't see it coming. Others saw it coming and issued plenty of warnings. They were derided and denounced. Like Charles Lindbergh. Hindsight has always been 20/20.

Research has nothing to do with parties or paranoia unless its filtered through an agenda.
