This is the attitude that is leading North Koreans to war,

We must stop with the "kill our enemies" mentality and start thinking of loving our enemies.

We should stop imposing sanctions on North Korea, stop policing them, and send ambassadors over there,

Leave them alone, if they want to have a cult of personality and a communist country, let them!

Last time I was on ATS commenting was during the artillery incident. So here we are again with the north making bellicose threats. Could be just noise again but they are over the top this time. What worries me is that war could be decided by the stupidest private on guard duty on either side, Not really a way to do business. One shot could get the whole ball rolling.

They give us there Nukes, we give them some food, fair exchange, least from our point of view.

No Nukes, No Nukes!

Now what can we exchange our nukes for? Since it will be us that need the food soon!

That's not why the standoff is going on
China is...that...and other than being stand offish, we don't actually give a toss.

The issue with NK is they keep wanting to murder our allies to their south and east...and that presents a problem.

Whenever we step back a bit and see if they are ready to be grown up, they start pounding their junk on the table and talk about how they are building weapons and will light up everyone the moment they are finished....

It's such a mess,

I feel horrible thinking about it,

I think North Korea is probably the closest thing in existence to the classical conception of Hell.

Granted, we'll see some casualities on the naval front though, from NK subs, hovercraft, and patrol ships. However, I don't think we're likely to see an invasion of NK by the US/UN. Instead, more of a hard line of armor (backed by air superiority) at the border, preventing any NK armored forces from invading past the DMZ.

That's a good question... Last I heard about the UN is that they were approving sanctions.

Not that I'm a big UN follower, but I'm wondering what the stance of the UN is now- to the new NK developments?

Now that it seems that the situation is at a boiling point, is it true that the UN just let the PTB - i.e. the true powers that be take the brunt? All of a sudden, they have nothing to say. y/n?

If so (unless they know something we don't... like they know that it's all just a bunch of hot air) then that's just idiotic. We're listening but the silence is deafening....

Granted they might have a chance to Nuke Soul, but thats a factor the west can live with, sad but true!
You think NK has more than 20 Nukes??? LoL

I would be immensely impressed if they have but two, three tops!

lol Who is the west? Is that just your opinion? I think it might be i certainly dont want my soul nuked lol

No but seriously i do not know how many nukes NK has my point was they can do unacceptable damage with their conventional forces, regardless of nukes. USA will, and have done there best to avoid war with NK period, and that is with good reason look at the bigger picture not just what "team america" can do... murrrica f.yeah... lol

NK will fire on it's own people with a false U.S. missle and tell the world that a U.S. missle has destryed parts of a populate NK area. ( False flag). Parts of the missle will be displayed with U.S. markings on it. The U.S. will be made to look like the aggressor during this excercise. NK will immediately retaliate and send it's nuke to south Korea. China will side with NK.
The U.S. will be left to prove that the missle was not fired by them, Russia will be at the U.S.'s side.
Pakistan will side with the U.S. and Russia and anger Iran. Israel will turn it's back on the U.S.

Sorry....I hate doing this...Call it a "vision" or a very strong tought that motivated me to write this as I did my last post....

"lol Who is the west?"

Illuminati controlled puppet goverments aka US/UK/France plus a few others sums up the west. You know the same ones that sell you all your military hardware.

"Is that just your opinion?"

No its someone else's opinion, one of the other voices in my head lol. Of course it's my opinion, what a silly question.

"I think it might be i certainly dont want my soul nuked lol"

I dont want your Soul nuked either, my point is that it's an acceptable loss in the eyes of the west. Its not going to put there nose out of joint, just give them a reason to send NK and the probably the rest of the peninsula back to the Flintstones era!

Im not advocating such an act, just illustrating how "They" will socially engineer there actions.

Keep in mind, China (along with the other security council members of the UN) signed off on these sanctions. The stance of the UN should be very clear. However, to make a public statement, would only add fuel to the fire, so the UN knows better here....not their first rodeo with NK..... Now, if NK pushes any further.....well, somebody's bluff is called, one way or the other...

It's more that we can't read the current leader. He's young, and has only been in charge for what, like 18 months? Historical NK actions may or may not indicate this guy's way of doing business. So far, he's using the same playbook....he may have skipped the "double dog dare" and gone straight to "triple dog dare", but he's still calling the same kind of plays.....

I don't suppose they have web cams hooked up along the DMZ? Would be epic viewing if things kick off....well epic for a couple minutes or seconds.

The issue with NK is they keep wanting to murder our allies to their south and east...and that presents a problem.

Wanting to do something and actually doing it are two different things.

The Koreans are not going to attack the Koreans. Their enemy is the Americans bristling along the 38th parallel. It would be suicide for the Koreans in the north to launch some kind of offensive there, and they know it. Of course if they did, and the US counter attacked, pushing into the Northern part of Korea that would concern the Chinese and we know that. China's concern is not so much what anyone living in Korea does, but that the US military has a sizable force with harbors on the continent of Asia, at their doorstep (the Korean Peninsula).

The last time the US swept North towards the Yalu River, the Chinese remained quiet until they sprung into action sweeping south and driving the US back. Thats why the situation is where it is today... stalemate. The two combatants are China and the US over who occupies the Korean Peninsula.

The hell with them! They want a nuke? Let's send them 4 or 5. 30 minutes delivery or they are free. I am sure we have a few neutron bombs gathering dust on the shelf somewhere. Maybe after that we can get to more important stuff like ending all foreign aid and getting the UN the heck out of our country.

I think people need to realise that North Korea is akin to a frightened little child. We can't take what they say seriously and an adult spanking a child with nulear weapons is not the right approach. This gung ho attitude helps no one least of all US citizens.

As Europe and the US are like the mature adults in this scenario we shouldn't punish them in a way that will kill all the other kids in the payground. We should engage with them and demonstrate to them why (if it is even possible or truthful to do so) they shouldn't be allowed the kind of weapons we use and take for granted. Dialogue and cooperation are the way to go, that's how we have managed to come so far so quickly from our days living in caves.

Of course this is all dependent on whether one believes this global theatre of war and brinkmanship is at all real. I have grave doubts. I believe it's more likely that behind closed doors there are two or three factions of the NWO using the planet as a threeway FUBAR game of chess.

So is saying it....politically, and that's exactly what Un has done. He's threatened both the US and SK, and make no mistake, he has ZERO problem killing South Koreans (or his own for that matter).

I think NK are genuinely trying to resolve the korean problem. By putting pressure on the US and SK by renouncing the Armstice they are rolling back the situation to the time of the cease-fire. SK is still at war with NK. The main stumbling block is China because they do not like change and having NK rub the US up the wrong way might please them, although in public they support the latest sanctions.

So it may be a good time for the US and SK to talk to NK directly because it would force China to get involved, and hopefully start leading to a re-united Korea.

They aren't pointing a gun at us. Not only do they not yet have the capability, we have been aiming guns at them since the war.

The US, EUROPE, NATO and the UN are the ones who have ZERO problem killing anyone they don't like or is in their way. We have always been the real aggressors, history is replete with examples and we must never ever forget that nuclear weapons have already been used in anger with the excuse of saving lives when in the end the legacy of those actions still affects Japan, it's people, it's land and it's gene pool.

At the very least NK will not set off a nuclear bomb on their neighbour for the same reasons I wouldn't with mine. Nuclear is messy and doesn't descriminate or recognise borders and fences. The day will eventually come when a nuclear weapon is used in that area but it will be held back until after the Middle East is done and dusted and probably even after Africa has been secured. But rest assured it won't be NK that sets it off but us in a false flag.

I just find it ironic how they pushed the world to the edge that it's at now, then left only certain countries holding the bag. They are not stepping in to negotiate a truce? The only thing they know how to do is sanctions, it seems.

It's possible that they made a statement or something similar... dunno.
