You really believe hitler was successful, at locking folks away, yet stalin wasnt? Have you ever read a history book?

Stalin was in power longer, he killed more people, and locked more away than hitler ever dreamed of, on this issue, hitler was a highschool team, and stalin was in the pro bowl.

I see now whaere your naivete comes from, your truly ignorant of anything that doesnt fit your, the workds poops rainbows mentality.

Judt remember, no matter what you say or think right now, some of us see through this charade, and will be the ones cutting the fence for you to get out, just remember to thank us, not now, keep hoping, it is as important as determination at least, but after the fact.

NO, he doesnt deserve a star or applause....
You just dont get it, to say one person is more American than another because they have a different perspective than you is playing right into the game like the pawns you are.

The more we bicker and fight over our personal experiences and opinions, the more divided we become as a nation and the closer we bring ourselves to civil war. This is the mentality that these greedy bastards hope for and feed off of and the more people use this false "right/left paradigm" the easier it is for them to manipulate us to do thier bidding.
The more we argue amongst ourselves the less likely we are to fix these problems in our society.
We are supposed to be learning from eachothers experiences and appreciating the different perspectives life has to offer.

Does your right hand fight against you left, no they work together as part of the same body, and this doesnt apply to just Americans, it applies to the entire human race, now get your # together.
I didn't ask for, or post for stars, and it's quite obvious you're not familiar with me OR my line of thinking. I'm the first one to say that the ''left, ''right'' crap divides us. Check my previous posts before you start coming at me with crap like that. And I didn't say that I was more American, I said ''maybe more'', and my reasons for saying that are reasons that have jack $h!# to do with a mere difference of opinion. Peace out.

I'm fairly certain this job listing pertains to war and the current global situation more than it does to the homeland. If North Korea gets out of hand for instance, we will need this kind of professional there to round up all Kim Dong's hooligans and imprison them, re-educate them, move them etc.
This is a simple Army job and look around folks the US Army is all over the place. This job listing does not mean they are going to round up Texans and ppl in the US for god sakes.

This job listing was debunked on here months ago by both inquisitive members of ATS and members of the military that frequent ATS that are aware of the MOS. Its just like the bogus chemtrail videos that get posted once in a while - it crops up, people get their panties in a wad about it, and it goes away after a bit.

Not to sound rude or criticize your post, but could you please next time when posting a video, summarize it in your post, because a small proportion of us on ATS can't always watch the videos you post and I am very interested in your topic; I just can't watch the video you provided so it's kind of a bummer for me

People will want the "internment camps". After the next "bubble" completely collapses, people will be begging for it. Pleading for it.

The people will walk happily into the camps. Thanking the guards all they way.

You're already seeing that mentality from some of the boot licking type responses in this thread.

Those are the types that would gladly rat someone out, or willingly go wherever someone in a blue helmet tells them.

Just look at how many stars that guy with Tyler Durden avatar received. It makes me very sad.

Go to Mother Jones, that is a rag that you should support, right?

Read the article about Obama and Eric Holder... and their position on using lethal force on US citizens on US soil, including drone strikes.

Due process? What's that?

Back when the subject was drone strikes on US citizens in foreign countries, the bootlickers said, 'Oh that will never happen here!'

Your bosses, (Obama and Holder) won't rule it out.

Goodbye US Constitution, long live the bootlickers.

He wrote this:

I'm as American as you are chief, maybe more.

Maybe more, not necessarily more.
He was responding to this:

Wake up people, we need more than prisons for a large amount of these 'Americans'.

Shadowherder was making a division among us with that statement, IMO. "these 'Americans' need more than prisons"??? It is just feeding into the mentality that you blame me and poloblack for having.

Racially, I am a 'mutt', and sometimes I feel like just that, because people lump people into groups.

I was blaming everyone for the nonsence and bickering, i understand your reasoning for interjecting in thier disagreement as i hope you understand my reason for doing the same, we ALL need to be conducting ourselves at a higher standard.

Thats all there really is that divides us is opinion/perspective. I didnt say dont speak your mind or defend yourself i was only pointing out that we all need to act with a bit more civility towards eachother.

I can certainly understand why our government has concerns and feels it necessary to prepare for worst case scenarios, not too many level heads prevailing these days, but that does not mean that i agree with thier methods.

Im not looking to blame, or "coming at" anyone, heck...i have been "that guy" at times and probably will be again, nobody is perfect but if we dont start learning from our collective experiences then society has failed.

What is worse, living a society forced to conform, or living with a free mindforced into a cage?

I think a mod should give you applause for this. You got the one star I am allowed to give you.

As far as the tune changing, I am not sure. Some people are so asleep, they will probably think that the government is looking out for their best interest when they get a bullet in the back of their head.

And boom goes the dynamite! !!!!!!!!! I also starred him, I would donate from my total star count just to add more to your posts.

When we allow the government to decide who does or does not have constitutional rights, we have no right to complain when they take our rights as well. Tides change…today’s good-guy patriot could be tomorrow’s internment camp prisoner. These camps aren’t for thugs and criminals…we have prisons for that already. Think about it.

I need to say that i agree with you on this point, i dont condone these drone strikes anywhere, but...

I need to play devils advocate for a moment.
Lets not delude ourselves, there are most likely people within our borders whos intent is to bring us harm.
Given the prevailing and growing attitudes in America it is not hard for me to assume that somewhere there IS an "extreme" person or group(s).

Now i personally cant just assume that everyone is the enemy but that IS the job of our government, remember "foreign AND domestic"

Lets say in the coarse of time our government has figured out who these people really are, has proof of thier intent but learns a little to late and action must be taken to save lives...what is the next step? What would you do?

If it were me, and i knew for sure that some guy was in the woods or in a basement or driving into a city with a bomb and intent to kill you/me our freinds/families i know what i would do, without hesitation.

No matter what that persons cause or who his "percieved" enemy was, his life would end to protect my fellow Americans.
Yes it sounds hypocritical but i would rather suffer the consequences of those "illegal" actions than live the rest of my life knowing i could have saved even one person.

Onr of the biggest problems i see in society is peoples inability to face thier fears, instead they lash out violently in anger and confusion at people who do not deserve it and the biggest perpetrators of that is our governments.

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out--
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out--
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out--
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me--and there was no one left to speak for me.

Who is that quote attributed to? I’ve read that before…

It's exactly right, though. We have a robust prison system and a rule of law in this country already. Anything above and beyond that, especially in violation of ANY American’s constitutional rights, is completely unacceptable and should be rebuked by ALL!!

What makes you think that this economic crisis just will go away? This could be a crisis that can't go away, simply because we are to many ! The capitalistic ideology cant continue like it have done, because we lack the resources and the debts are getting to high for most people.

And do you think that the elites just want to give up all their wealth and control for the betterment of you and me? Think again.

I fail to see what purpose locking up people does.

Your not going to lock up 300 million people so don't you think those that are still outside are going to be kinda pissed that their families and friends are being rounded up?

Unless you talking about the total elimination of the American populace so that only a few elites remain than this scenario makes absolutely no sense.

Locking people up will strike fear in those that lack the will to stand up for what they believe.. This will only work when those who rebel see the bodies next to them lay lifeless. People will fear death like never before.

Let's be real. They're going to kill you once they've obtained the power and control to do so. They don't give a flip about you. They want to build an empire without you in it.

Why keep a few select portions alive? Well.. they have to have slaves, yes? Yes. Yes they do. God can not be God without subjects to worship him.

Then they can have you work work work work work until all the debt is paid off. Then when that's done, you can work even more to make them a PROFIT.

It was written by Martin Niemöller (1892–1984) in regard to the rise of the Nazi Party in Germany.
